Many people know about the Stop Ham organization, which is now popular, but few people know that its creator and leader is Dmitry Chugunov, who, through his dedication and hard work, turned it into an international project.
This is a young man who was born in the capital of Russia in 1986, on February 25.
Dmitry Chugunov married the girl Anastasia, the wedding took place in 2012. In the same year, a couple was born to a son, who was named Stepan. At this time, the boy is four years old.

Little is known about the young man’s childhood. He attracted attention to himself already in his teens. He successfully graduated from high school in 2005, at the same time the young man actively participates in social activities, becomes the commissar of a social movement called “Nashi”, and in the same 2005 he participated in a youth meeting with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin at the Zavidovo residence.
After several years, a young public figure decides to get a higher pedagogical education and enters the Moscow State Pedagogical University, the faculty of social pedagogy.
In 2006, he became the head of the Our Army movement, which operates in Ivanovo.
For two years (2006-2008) he served in the “Vityaz” (Special Forces Unit) and “Typhoon” BB of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation on an urgent basis.
Dmitry Chugunov (whose photo can be seen in this article) is a sniper, in 2007 he was on a business trip in Dagestan, where he performed his duties as part of the Vityaz OSN.
He participated in the championships in shooting from a sniper rifle and personal weapons in 2008, where he became the champion. In the same year, he won the judo and sambo competition of the Eastern Regional Command of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation.
For two years, during 2009 and 2010, he was a platoon instructor and teacher in the city of Moscow on a contract basis.
Stop Ham
In 2010, Dmitry Chugunov became the head of the unique Stop Ham project. In just a short time, this organization has grown from a civil campaign for opposing rudeness on the road into a project of national scale.
The essence of this movement was that its participants asked drivers not to park in the wrong places and marked offending cars with stickers. At first, only three girls were engaged in this and Dmitry Chugunov himself. Parents were not enthusiastic about such an idea and tried to dissuade their son. But now the Stop Ham movement is not only aimed at a culture of road behavior, but is also trying to educate and instill in modern youth patriotism, honesty, courtesy, leadership and collectivism.
The popularity of this project has grown so much that it is known both on the World Wide Web and on television. In just a couple of years of its existence, Stop Ham got into news reports on Russian television channels, and the total number of television broadcasts of the results of this movement exceeded a thousand.
At the Seliger Federal Youth Forum, held in 2011 and 2012, Dmitry Chugunov made a presentation and reported on the successes of Stop Ham to the President of the Russian Federation.
This project has expanded its borders and became international; its representative offices operate in Moldova, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, as well as in the Baltic countries.
On March 21, 2016, the project was formally closed, but it exists as a volunteer organization.
Parking incident
At the end of November 2014, Dmitry Chugunov was injured by employees of the FSBR (Development Assistance and Improvement Fund). It all started with the fact that representatives of the Timiryazevsky district council of Moscow began to break garages without warning with heavy equipment such as bulldozers. The owners of the garages tried to resist these illegal actions and called the leader of the Stop Ham movement to the scene. A brawl began, in which the police intervened only after Dmitry Chugunov was injured. The public figure had to be hospitalized, he received damage to both eyes as a result of spraying gas from a pepper spray and various minor injuries to the body. After a course of treatment and rehabilitation, Dmitry returned to the performance of his duties.
TV activity
This young man is distinguished by active social and public activities, which was taken into account by the leaders of the federal television channel TVC.
In 2012, they invited Dmitry to their channel to try themselves in the role of the leading television project "City Wars". The young man happily agreed and successfully completed his work, but this program lasted only one season. The project was closed due to a change in channel management.
