The palace was built over four years, from 1983 to 1987. Such famous architects as I. Chalov and Yu. Konovalov participated in the construction of the building. According to the architects of the project, they had to build a small fortress, something similar to the Kremlin, but with more simplified forms, as well as with a noticeable influence of Russian architecture, but not forgetting about modern examples of Western architecture. Prior to decommunization, the Vostochny Palace was called the Palace of Young Pioneers of the Perovsky District of the Capital.
Swimming pool
Particular attention should be paid to swimming pools located on the premises of the institution. Two pools function. Small has a width of 7 m, a length of 8 m and a depth of 70 cm, and a large - 25, 12 and 1.7 m, respectively.
