Childhood and study
Evelina Zakamskaya was born on November 17, 1975 in sunny Baku. Her childhood was happy and serene. The year of birth of Evelina Zakamskaya was the time of development of Azerbaijan, then Baku was a real paradise. The girl’s passionate dream was the desire to become a ballerina, she even studied at the Baku Choreographic School. But life had its own way. In 1990, Evelina Zakamskaya, whose biography makes a sharp turn, was forced to leave Azerbaijan with her parents. Anti-Russian sentiment reigned in the country at that time, it became not only difficult, but also dangerous for the Russian-speaking population, and therefore it was decided to leave for Russia. At first, the family came to St. Petersburg and Evelina entered the Vaganov School, but almost immediately received an injury that prevented her from continuing her studies. A 15-year-old girl had to give up her dream and start living anew. The family moves again, now to the Tver region, where relatives lived. Evelina’s mother came from a family of Finnish refugees, they at one time survived deportation, and the next global move was perceived as a repeat of fate. Arriving in Russia, the family received refugee ID number 1, thousands of other immigrants came for them later.
At school, Evelina Zakamskaya studied well, especially shone in the humanities, this predetermined the choice of place of study. She enters the philological faculty of Tver State University.
The beginning of the way
Even as a student, Evelina Zakamskaya, whose biography was quite successful, came to local television, where she made a series of programs about the Finnish and Karelian diasporas. So she paid tribute to the roots of her mother and found herself in a profession. When she was studying, she could not imagine that she would work on the federal channel. She thought she would work for the local newspaper or television, but she saw nothing wrong with that. A lively and indefatigable character always helped Evelina find herself an interesting occupation.
After graduation, Zakamskaya worked in local media, but the desire to expand the scale forced her to move to Moscow in 2002. The first place of work in the capital was the Mayak radio station, where she broadcast news and morning news broadcasts. Surprisingly, before allowing her to broadcast, the editor urged the newly-made journalist to change her real name and surname to "something simpler." So Evelina became Evgenia Maximova for four years.
In parallel with the radio, Zakamskaya collaborates with the Mir television company, for which it is preparing a program for Commonwealth News.
"News" as a profession
In 2006, Evelina Zakamskaya made, according to her, the wisest and most correct decision in life, and transferred to work in the VGTRK in the Vesti program. Work in a new place captured the journalist. A friendly, enthusiastic team, interesting projects, meetings with new, bright people - all this corresponded to the character of Zakamskaya. In Vesti she again returned to her real surname, here no one was embarrassed by the pompous combination of Evelina Zakamskaya. Starting with a news anchor at Vesti and Rossiya 24, she is growing rapidly and becoming the head of the channel’s research area, responsible moderator of the Russia 24 channel’s sessions at major international forums. Daily work in the news gives the journalist the opportunity to constantly improve his skills, learn to respond quickly to events, and to separate the main thing from the secondary. These skills allowed Zakamskaya to grow and develop in the profession.

Own program is the dream of every journalist. Evelina Zakamskaya is the author of the information channel “Opinion”, in which she talks with leading experts in various fields and politicians. She interviewed many leading politicians of the world, in particular, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov and other famous people. Zakamskaya managed to create an intellectual program, which is very lively and interesting, she knows how to talk a person, find an approach to a person of any level.
