This is the most famous person in the team who takes on the most social responsibilities, such as interviews, promotions, advertisements, photo shoots, press conferences and the like. Usually the frontmen of the groups are soloists. They are always in sight, and their popularity depends on charm and vocal abilities. Quite often, guitarists become frontmen, less often drummers.
However, frontmen are not only in musical groups and even not only in associations associated with creativity or show business. This term is often used in other areas.
"Non-musical" frontman - who is it? It is rather a formal or real leader of a society, social movement, group or any other association of people. For example, Grigory Alekseevich Yavlinsky is the frontman of the Yabloko party, Ernesto Che Guevara, the frontman of the revolutionary movement in Cuba.
