They assist each individual in mastering all social norms. How one can behave, and how one should not, how to orient oneself in society, choose a suitable partner for oneself, create a strong family, how to communicate with parents - all this is recognized by the person in the family. Only in it is it possible to educate a full member of society. Therefore, family institutions are the main connecting link in the social hierarchy.

A person learns all the values and norms of behavior accepted in the family, and transfers them to the outside world and to his own family, built in the future. That is why children brought up outside the family, in orphanages or in adverse conditions, can not always build the right family. Lack of the correct behavior model does not allow a person to master the true role of husband / wife or mother / father. Therefore, the social institutions of the family are the most important fundamental link in society. Without them, humanity would not be able to progress and develop. Scientists say that, in addition to mastering the role system with norms and statuses, family institutions allow a person to learn the features of the rules of behavior in society. If we exclude the family from the "social matrix", then the human world is threatened by chaos and extinction.

Family as a guardian of the future

The social institution of family and marriage is the earliest of all. Its norms are passed down from generation to generation, becoming traditions. Society assumes the role of its regulator, for example, prohibiting marriages between close peers. The society supports the institutions of the family: protects childhood and motherhood, supports the disabled, controls divorces. Social benefits, payments, guarantees, support for fertility - all this allows the family to develop and not go into oblivion. All this is enshrined in law or at the level of moral values. Modern society regulates the characteristics of the relationship between men and women, the attitude towards children and the elderly. All this is because the family is a decisive stimulus in a person’s life and supports his social well-being. It is a strong family that helps a person to properly socialize and realize himself.

She participates in the formation of personality, its development and disclosure of personality. The continuous process of transferring experience and traditions allows society to remain unchanged.

Same-sex marriage - is there any sense?

In modern society, the boundaries of the institution of marriage and the family are expanding. In addition to permission to create and register same-sex couples, they are equated in rights in terms of the upbringing and development of the younger generation. That is, same-sex couples received the right to raise children, passing on their own values and rules. It is not yet clear what this practice may lead to. But most people believe that it destroys the institutions of family and marriage and negatively affects the younger generation, passing them the wrong norms and traditions.
