Biography
Irina was born in a family in which there were no athletes. Irina's dad is an electrician, and her mother is a gynecologist. In 1973, on February 18, a girl was born in the Lobachev family who was named Irina. The child was sick quite often, and the doctors advised the parents to give Irina to some sports section, and, preferably, the classes were held outdoors. Parents really liked figure skating, especially the triumphant performances of Soviet skaters, which in those years attracted the attention of many spectators during the World and European Championships. Therefore, the decision to send my daughter to the figure skating section was unanimous.
Irina began to practice with coaches Natalya Dubinskaya from the age of six. The girl really liked this sport, she quickly mastered the basics of skiing, jumping and revolutions. She skated as a lone skater. At age 12, Ira goes to Prague to participate in international competitions.
The family lived in a village near Moscow, and it was very difficult for Irina to get to workouts, combine studies and homework, the coach invited the Lobachevs to take their daughter to the Dynamo hostel in Moscow.
The beginning of a sports career
Perhaps Irina Lobacheva would become a successful figure skater in individual skating, as the elements of this sport were easy for her. However, there were problems with the knee joint after the injury. Jumping and stunts could aggravate the onset of the disease. Irina was offered to switch to pair dancing. But not everything is so smooth in sports, especially since half the success of a performance depends on the partner. Ira’s first partner was Oleg Onishchenko, a skater with whom they trained for about a year and a half. Not getting into the competition, Oleg quit figure skating, deciding to do business. It was the beginning of the 90s. Soon Irina was offered to ride with Alexei Pospelov, but the couple was not destined to exist for a long time. Alexey emigrated to Switzerland.
Couple Lobachev - Averbukh
The lucky chance helped the 18-year-old athlete to occupy her niche in figure skating. In 1992, at the coaching council, they decided as an experiment to put Irina in a pair with Ilya Averbukh, who had previously trained with Anisina Marina. Due to a broken relationship, the couple broke up. But sometimes the course of events develops in such a way that everyone seems to benefit from seemingly uncomfortable situations. So it happened here. Instead of Irina Lobacheva, Marina went to France to see the figure skater Gwendale Peyser and did not lose, judging by their joint performances and awards. And Lobachev - Averbukh “danced” so that they got into the top three skaters in Russia, and began to show good results at international championships.
In 1994, the couple decided to train in Denver (USA). Strengthened training brought the first results. In 1995, the couple, anticipating their victories in the sport, decided to enter into a family union. The 96/97 season was marked by major achievements in his sports career. In 1998, in the Japanese Nagano at the Winter Olympics, Ilya and Irina take fifth place, and in Salt Lake City in 2002, athletes take silver. Irina’s personal life was at the peak of happiness, which was facilitated by her beloved man and sports achievements.
Ending a sports career
In 2003, athletes completed skating in amateur sports. What happened, why did such a decision come? Irina and her husband decided to leave amateur sports at the peak of their achievements: silver in Salt Lake City, gold at the European Championships, awards from the state and the title of masters of sports. In the personal life of Irina Lobacheva there was a joyful event - she became a mother. In March 2004, she made a gift to her husband, having given birth to a wonderful son, Martin.
After leaving amateur sports, both professionals, Irina and Ilya take part in several shows on ice. The guys refused to receive proposals to stay in the West and pursue a career there, because they had long dreamed of creating their project "Ice Symphony".
Coaching
Having finished his career in amateur sports, everyone chooses his own direction, but still devotes himself to sports. And if Ilya began to work mainly on the project, Irina decided to engage in coaching with a dance couple playing for Belarus, K. Shmyrina and E. Maistrov. In the absence of her own trainings, Irina had time to finish the Moscow State University of Physical Education and get a second higher education at Moscow State University of Moscow. M.A. Sholokhov.

Irina Lobacheva at that time was torn between family and work. With this, the separation of the spouses from each other began. She heard rumors about his betrayal with the girls from the "ice" projects. She forgave him and life with her husband for a while was getting better. But the banal treason of Ilya continued.
On the ice shows, a whisper about his adventures stretched behind her. Ilya’s act was a gap when he didn’t come to the hospital to Irina, where she lay after a miscarriage. Ilya finally left the family, leaving his wife and son an apartment that they had recently bought.

Life goes on
On one of the ice projects, Lobacheva and Dmitry Maryanov had sympathies. The couple came together and lived together for a year and a half. The couple wanted children, but somehow they did not succeed with the offspring. Having changed Irina, Dmitry started an affair with Ksenia Bik, who gave birth to his daughter Anfisa, which put an end to their relationship with Lobacheva.
After breaking up with Dmitry, Irina had novels with two more men, whose relationship was interrupted by their tragic death. The first was 7 years younger, died of a heart attack, leaving the entrance of his house. Two years passed before Irina was able to think about some serious relationship with men. As time passed, a 45-year-old businessman appeared in Irina’s life - Alexander Shumakov. The environment of Ira did not understand what she found in this man who, according to rumors, often drank and, without money for alcohol, carried Irina's jewelry to the pawnshop. A rhetorical question arises: was he a businessman? He died a month later from the beginning of their relationship, jumping out of the window of an apartment on the 14th floor in which they lived with Irina.
