Researchers still do not agree on what areas of public life should be highlighted. Some of them believe that it is necessary to divide society into only two main criteria: material and spiritual hypostasis. Of course, there are certain limitations here. So, the material sphere of public life is the economic and production components. As for the second category, science and culture are ranked among it.
However, this is far from the most popular separation system. So, at present, there is a spread where they single out the social, spiritual, economic and political spheres of public life. Some authors are trying to create another category in this classification - the domestic sphere, but such an action raises many objections. Researchers note that it covers a more specific life system of society, in contrast to all other sections that reflect its fundamental structure.
It should be noted that all examples of areas of public life include a certain circle of social relations, social institutions that are subordinate to the functions performed by society. So, within the framework of the supervision of the economic sphere, there are relations that have a direct relationship with production, as well as with the use and exchange of existing material goods. The main function that the economic criterion obeys is the interconnection of society as a system with the world around it, which implies adaptation to it and active interaction.
As for the social sphere of public life, it includes the relationships that arise between certain social communities and groups. Within its framework there are questions about the integration and separation of society, which is carried out under the direct influence of the interests of all types of groups.
If we consider the political sphere, we must take into account that it includes the relationship between civil society, political parties and the state machine itself. It is designed to control and regulate these processes.
To characterize the framework of the spiritual sphere of public life, it should be noted that with its participation a very important function is carried out: maintaining a system of moral values and norms of human interaction. It includes relations that are formed under the influence of the creation, dissemination, as well as the preservation of various forms of spiritual values.
All these systems in the process of their existence are inextricably linked. Moreover, the question of which one prevails is still relevant. Many emphasize the economic because all changes in it can lead to dramatic changes in thinking and existence in other areas of public life.
However, today scientists still come to the conclusion that in considering the interaction system, a number of influential factors should be taken into account, which are far from always entering the economic sphere. In the same way as the last one is directly influenced by one or another factor of the political, social or spiritual components.
