The band members woke up famous after the release of their second creation - the Wings album. The disc was the best-selling record in the history of the boy band until recently, but the new mini-album Love Yourself broke previous records. Thanks to him, the team has repeatedly won at the international festival Mnet Asian Music Awards. Boysband BTS is one of the most popular South Korean bands overseas: they won as the "Best Social Media Artists" at the Billboard Festival, organized by the eponymous magazine with the mini-edition Love Yourself. They got the seventh line in the US Billboard 200 charts. Prior to this, no Asian idol had ever climbed so high in foreign charts.
After that, the singles DNA and MIC Drop received gold certificates from RIAA. The group went down in history once again, since none of the Koreans had previously received such a certificate. Talented guys for two consecutive years received the “gold” in the nomination “Artist of the Year” at the MAMA festival. Since its inception, the group has sold over five million of its records in many countries.

Kim Suk Jin Artist Biography
Jin was born on December 4, 1992 in the town of Gwacheon, in the South Korean province of Kengido. He is the second child in the family.
Kim Suk Jin is a graduate of Konkuk University. His specialty is “Art and acting”. After graduation, he continued his studies at the Hanyang Higher Education Institution at a faculty that had nothing to do with music.
Carier start
Then still unknown to anyone Kim Suk Jin was spotted by the manager of Big Hit Entertainment on the street, he was invited to audition. At that time, he studied acting. In the summer of 2013, he began his career as part of the BTS group. The first single of the guys was called No More Dream. Before that, Gene had already written music and lyrics, but then for the first time he was given the role of co-producer for his solo song called Awake, which was included in the Wings album. The song climbed seventeenth in the Gaon charts, and also finished sixth on the Billboard chart.
Gene, along with other members of the team, was awarded the fifth-class Order of Merit in Culture personally from the president of the country.
