Only over the past year, and more specifically, since January, the famous presenter Zhanna Agalakova, in addition to living in America, also works there. She holds the position of special correspondent for Channel One in New York. But strangely enough, for all viewers who regularly watch the news on the First, Joan is associated with the city of love - Paris.

Childhood

In 1965, Zhanna Agalakova was born. Her biography begins in Kirov. She grew up in a simple family: mom - a teacher of the Russian language, dad - an ordinary engineer. Who only in childhood did a girl dream of becoming! There were thoughts about following in the footsteps of her mother, she thought about the profession of an architect, composer and even an investigator. When Agalakova was 14 years old, she left her city. This was due to a trip of parents to Mongolia, which lasted 4 years.

First trip to Paris

The first time in the capital of France, Jeanne was seventeen years ago. She went to Paris as an ordinary tourist on an old sightseeing bus. But this did not bother her at all, because she was going to her beloved - Giorgio Savona.

From the moment the TV presenter met the Italian, meeting for a couple has always been problematic. By the way, this happened quite by accident in 1991 in Suzdal, during the International Conference on the fight against organized crime. Jeanne graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at the University of Moscow State University, began working in a television studio under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and therefore was engaged in covering this important event. Savona was a student at the physics institute of the Roman Institute; he visited Russia out of curiosity - in support of his father, a famous Italian forensic scientist, who was invited to the seminar. In their free time, the organizers of the forum decided to give the participants a gift and arranged a city tour. It so happened that a young girl and Giorgio were fortunate enough to sit in neighboring places in a car. It was love at first sight.

A very difficult relationship

Initially, everything went wrong as the couple wanted. At the end of the conference, the young man with his father went to his homeland. Nevertheless, his thoughts and heart remained in Russia. It is not at all surprising that after arriving home, Giorgio immediately dialed Jeanne. The conversation took place in English. Phone conversations were not cheap for a lover, but that didn’t bother him, he was so interested in the girl that in any free time he tried to make money and call Russia.

It was much more problematic to see each other again. For Agalakova, a trip to Italy was almost an unrealistic fact. And then Savona took the initiative in his own hands: he accumulated the necessary amount and flew to Moscow. For Jeanne, it was the best gift for the New Year. From Rome, the young man brought a huge number of different gifts and products, since at that time the Soviet Union collapsed, and almost all stores were closed.

Despite the fact that in Moscow, the couple promised each other never to leave again, their relationship for several years was limited to telephone conversations. Of course, they saw each other, but these meetings were so short, a maximum of three weeks, that the lovers did not have time to enjoy each other's company. All this continued until Giorgio took a chance and came to work in Moscow, at the University of Steel and Alloys.

Happy life

Thousands of kilometers did not really affect the feelings of the TV presenter and Giorgio. In early spring 2001, the couple officially sealed their relationship. Before that, for 10 years, lovers happily lived in a civil marriage. Soon they became the parents of the wonderful daughter Alice, but they still lived in different countries: Zhanna Agalakova with her baby in Moscow, and Giorgio in Rome. At that time, Jeanne was the host of the program “Time” on “Channel One”. The desired position, which everyone would probably hold on to, but not this purposeful person. Once, the TV presenter came to her director’s office and surprised him with a statement that she really wanted to go to Paris and become an independent correspondent for Channel One there. At that moment, this vacancy was free. Of course, Jeanne’s leadership was dumbfounded by this act: to be a famous TV presenter and then become a correspondent …

The presenter had many reasons to decide on such an act. Firstly, she was not interested in reading the news, secondly, her husband worked at a Paris university, and thirdly, her daughter loved her father very much and missed him. In 2005, Jeanne went to conquer France.

Life in Paris

Zhanna Agalakova fell in love with Paris when she was there for the first time. Therefore, moving here was for her one of the most pleasant moments in life. The happy family settled in a huge apartment, which was located in one of the prestigious areas of the city - a few minutes walk from the magnificent Champs Elysees. Jeanne was engaged in her activities at home. Initially, she was even glad that you could come to work in slippers: as soon as you went into your office, he was also a correspondent office. But after some time, the presenter realized that she was not leaving work, but was constantly there. Just a few months later, Zhanna Agalakova perfectly knew the city, every day she discovered something new, interesting and unknown. Currently, she studied Paris so much that she wrote a book about him.

In 2011, the Russian TV presenter became the author of the book “Everything I Know About Paris”. Zhanna Agalakova, whose photo was placed on the cover of the book, dedicated it to her beloved husband, who opened this beautiful city to her, to her daughter, who would know him better than herself, and to her brother Mikhail, who had managed to still not be there.. The book tells everything about the city, its attractions, as well as what happened to Jeanne. Now readers had the opportunity to learn the most interesting facts about France, and Zhanna Agalakova provided them with such an opportunity. The book about Paris was bought up, one might say, like hotcakes.

Distance is not an obstacle to love

To live under one roof in France, the couple did not quite long. Savona was offered a good position at the German institute of Bochum. A friendly family again had to split into two cities. Giorgio began to study physics, Jeanne was very happy that her husband had changed his occupation and was engaged in his favorite business. He was Sunday dad for two years, after which he realized that he couldn’t do this anymore, and returned to France, where he studied financial mathematics. And now, twenty years later, the lovers truly became inseparable.
