Her grandfather was a scientist, president of the Academy of Sciences in Georgia - Albert Nikiforovich Tavkhelidze. In addition to the grandfather, there were no famous people in the family.
The girl received education at Moscow University named after Mikhail Vasilievich Lomonosov.
During her studies at Maya University, she passed practice working as a teacher at school, but this profession did not appeal to her; Maya Tavkhelidze always thought that she deserved more. Therefore, the girl decided to look for herself in something else.
Career
In 2008, Maya Tavkhelidze came on probation at VGTRK to the very famous Russian television channel Russia 24. After eight months of internship, she, having shown all her skills and talents, became a correspondent on the same TV channel.
Two years after the start of work, Maya Tavkhelidze created a program called the Monster Corporation.
In her first issue, Maya talked about Steve Jobs and how he created his business. This program was very popular with viewers, so the channel’s management decided to launch a program about the creation of global corporations.
This project was incredibly popular, it became one of the best on the channel. The program talked about Google and Facebook, as well as about other well-known enterprises.
In 2012, Maya Tavkhelidze was invited to host the Runet Prize awarding ceremony. Co-host was Ivan Kudryavtsev.
Besides work
Besides her main work, Maya enjoys writing poetry. She was even able to release four collections with her poems. Now the girl has a blog called Thoughts Aloud. There she publishes poems and various posts that people like to read.
