Biography

Matt Gordon was born in 1983. He grew up on a Canadian farm near the small town of St. Paul in Alberta. Each morning, Matt and his seven sisters and brothers milked cows and cut meat in the evenings.

At school, Matt was not popular and grew up a very shy teenager, he was shy about his appearance. He wore braces and considered himself too tall and clumsy.

When the boy was 14 years old, his parents divorced, and Matt moved with his mother to live in Edmonton (the center of Alberta). Around the same time, Gordon begins to realize that he is homosexual. At the age of 17, the guy leaves home to find his way in life.

He says that his personality is a mixture of the characters of his mother and father. Our hero believes that it is his personality that attracts people to him. His ability to communicate and easily find a common language with others helps him achieve success in his work.

Career

Once at a bar, one guy complimented Matt. He introduced himself as a model and gave Gordon a business card. However, the guy took a year to really think about the career of a fashion model. He decided to visit the agency about which the guy from the bar told him. When the agency saw this tall and slender guy, they immediately signed a contract with him. According to Matt, his first shoots were terrible. He was incredibly shy and had no idea how to behave in front of the camera.

Model world

Soon Matt came to his first success, and with it self-confidence. Then the agency decided to send it to Australia - an ordinary step for promising fashion models who are not yet ready for shows in Milan or Paris. And then Matt Gordon plunged headlong into the madness of the model world and Sydney parties. After a couple of years of crazy work, he was finally ready to go to Milan.

Unlike Canada and Australia, where Matt had to work with small little-known brands, Milan is a fashion capital and a huge career breakthrough.

However, the model world was very harsh, and also full of homophobic moods. Unable to withstand the pressure, Matt soon left Milan and seriously thought about quitting work. But after some time he came to London in search of success. Not immediately, everything was easy. The guy literally survived here until he signed a contract with the British brand Ben Sherman. Calvin Klein followed. Before Matt could come to his senses, he again shone at Milan Fashion Week. Success again came to him and no longer left.
