Do you remember the “Alien” and “Predator” that so convincingly scared us back in the eighties? Do you like the Star Wars saga? Do you remember the legend of the Ghost Rider? Or maybe you are a fan of Transformers? If you answered yes to at least one of these questions, then you are strongly advised to visit the museum of the uprising of cars in Pargolovo.

It all started with an Alien

An unusual exposition was founded by good friends Andrei, Artem and Vladislav. Since childhood, they loved fantastic Hollywood films and, one might say, grew up on famous stories about Aliens and Predators. Perhaps this is why the Alien became the first figure with whom the unusual museum of the uprising of cars in Pargolovo actually began.

The founders of the institution had creative friends and acquaintances who helped to bring the idea to life. Retro cars were restored, motorcycle helmets were painted, and figures for the main exhibition were collected from … scrap metal.

Then the simple, but very passionate about the idea guys were not afraid and put all their savings into organizing and arranging an extraordinary exhibition. Of course, they would like to return their funds, but fears that such an exhibition would be of interest only to children from the neighborhood and, possibly, their parents, still remained.

Museum of the rebellion of cars in Pargolovo today

Today, the exhibition is popular not only with residents of St. Petersburg, but also with guests who come even from other countries.

What can you see in the museum?

An exposition of several figures awaits the visitor already at the entrance. Sometimes they change their location: some move inside the museum, others become "on guard" outside. Such changes are usually associated with new exhibitions or even the dimensions of the figures. Agree, the six-meter Optimus Prime is not so easy to hide under the roof.

Near the entrance, visitors are greeted by retrocars and the figure of the Ghost Rider. Next to the Racer is an impressive collection of painted helmets.

Next, guests enter the Marvel Hall, which gathered the favorite characters of comics and films. Here is the good robot Valley, Bender and, of course, famous superheroes. The next room - real biomechanical jungle with dinosaurs, birds, bulls, elephants and horses. A separate room is occupied by Transformers, and another large room is divided in the eternal confrontation between Predators and Aliens. Fans of films about the Terminator Arnold Schwarzenegger here, of course, will not see. But frightening machines, parts of their bodies and heads with eyes predatory glowing red, are present here.

It is interesting that the whole interior here is decorated as part of a common theme. Only the Pogolovo Museum of Machine Rise boasts coffee tables in the form of Spider-Man, made in the style of biomechanics, lamps with dragon heads and mechanical sunflowers in front of the entrance.

Only exposure? Or something else?

If you could only admire the figures from the exhibition, albeit so unusual, then this museum would be quite ordinary. But this is not so.

The museum can be rented for a children's holiday, here you can learn to play the laser harp and get acquainted with the living Predator. If you wish, you can even learn to drive a real tank, because a special training ground with absolute copies of Soviet and German cars is opened in front of the museum.

In addition, not a single holiday is missed here. For example, on Valentine's Day, all couples who came were invited to try the cocktail of love prepared by the aliens and leave their message to future generations of earthlings.

It is also pleasing that the museum's exposition is constantly replenished. Now, for example, work is underway to create the real Transformer. It will be in front of an amazed audience to gather from the car into a robot. It is planned that Bumblebee will move permanently to the Museum of the Rise of the Cars in Pargolovo. When the new exposition opens, unfortunately, is still unknown. One thing is certain: it’s technically possible to recreate such a Transformer.
