Each year, Michelle Boudreau and her family put in a basket full of refreshments and free items for couriers who come to their home in Maplewood, New Jersey, during the holiday season.
Mysterious disappearance of treats
So far, the Boudreau family has never had to worry about something being stolen from the basket. Michelle wrote on her blog that on the day when she put on the table a tray with refreshments, which included hand warmers, chocolates, lip balm, water, napkins, etc., a few hours later she noticed that all the chocolate disappeared.
“No kidding - after a few hours all the chocolates disappeared. I can not believe this. Why would anyone steal them? ”Michelle wrote on her blog.

Who stole the chocolate?
Trying to catch a thief, Boudreau's husband set up a camera. Michelle said that they wouldn’t do anything if the person was a thief. However, they were wondering who steals their chocolate in such large quantities and why he does it. At the same time, the Boudreau family did not yet know that it was not a person who steals sweets.
After installing the camera, Boudreau and her husband went for a walk with the dog, and when they returned, they caught the offender red-handed. What they saw greatly surprised them.
“Returning home, we saw how chocolate from a basket steals a squirrel! Moreover, she was the fattest of all that we saw. She was so fat that she moved very slowly. Because of this, she seemed very old, ”says Michelle.
At the same time, the squirrel collected all the chocolate that she came across in a basket. The Boudreau family was very surprised by what they saw. They did not believe their eyes. How can a small animal steal such a huge amount of chocolate?
