Nurali Rakhatovich Aliev (born January 1, 1985, Alma-Ata, Kazakh SSR, USSR) is a Kazakh entrepreneur, investor, banker, politician, philanthropist and public figure.
Education
Nurali Rakhatovich Aliyev studied at several higher educational institutions, both in his native Kazakhstan and abroad. Fluent in Kazakh, Russian and English.
2001-2002 - studied in the USA at Pepperdine University in California.
2002-2003 - studied at the Austrian International University in Vienna.
2003 - moved to the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay in Almaty, where two years later he received a bachelor's degree in economics and finance.
After graduation, he continued his studies in Austria, where he received a master's degree in business administration from the IMADEK University.
2006 - Passed an EMBA course at the McCOMBS School of Business, University of Texas.
Career
Without leaving his studies, Nurali Rakhatovich Aliyev worked as an employee of the international trade department of the French company SUCDEN ET DENREES SA, head of the international department / deputy head of the international department, and then president of the Kazakhstan Joint-Stock Company Sugar Center.
In 2006, he headed the Board of Directors of Capital Holding. He has been working in this position to this day.
2007-2010 - worked as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nurbank Joint Stock Company.
2008-2013– worked as Managing Director and member of the Management Board of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan Joint Stock Company.
2013-2014 - worked as president of Transtelecom.
2014 - Nurali Rakhatovich Aliyev decided to apply his skills in public service and became the deputy akim of Astana. Working for two years in this position, Nurali Aliyev was involved in attracting investors to the industrial and innovative sector of Astana, he oversaw the development of transport infrastructure, innovative development, tourism and entrepreneurship of the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2016 - Nurali Aliyev became the president of the Mountaineering and Sports Climbing Federation.
Today, Nurali Rakhatovich Aliyev is the owner and shareholder of CAPITAL HOLDING joint stock company and DARMEN HOLDING joint stock company and Transtelecom shareholder.
Nurali Rakhatovich Aliyev is a member of the Coordinating Council of the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Kazakhstan, chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Astana Invest Association and the organizer of the Astana Invest Forum.
In addition, Nurali Rakhatovich Aliyev is involved in charity work, is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Ana Uyi Public Fund, a philanthropist of the Mom’s House charity project, and the founder of the ZHANARTU charity fund.
