Bowling
This incredible one-track bowling alley was built in the basement of the White House at the request of Nixon in 1969. As it turned out, both President Nixon and the first lady were big bowling fans. President Truman originally built a bowling alley in 1947. However, since Truman was not a big bowler, the lane was replaced by a mimeograph room. Music room

Gym
The Clintons were responsible for several changes in the White House, including the gym on the third floor, which was added in the 1990s. Prior to that, he was part of the financial rooms used by the Hoover housekeeper. Jackie Kennedy later converted it into a guest bedroom with a “blue toilet”. Family Cinema
The White House Family Cinema, with 42 seats, is located in the east wing. It was originally a dressing room, but Franklin Delano Roosevelt turned it into a movie theater in 1942. At first there were four soft chairs for the president’s family. Despite the lack of a separate room, the tradition of showing films in the White House began long before 1942. Now the cursed silent film "Birth of a Nation" was shown in the Central Hall in 1915. All the first families have found good use for the Family Theater since its inception. The first film that President Trump watched in this movie theater was Finding Dory.
Flower shop
Once in the White House grew all the flowers that were used at events or sent as gifts. But the greenhouses in which these flowers were once grown were demolished during the reconstruction of the White House in 1902. Today, a flower shop is only a small part of what it once was.
Solarium
William Howard Taft established the tanning bed as a cool and comfortable place for the First Family to sleep on hot summer nights. The solarium, also known as the “Heavenly Room” or “The Solar Room”, was rebuilt for several years and was a favorite place for many presidents. Kennedy's daughter, Caroline, even took classes with teachers there. In 1981, First Lady Nancy Reagan was in the solarium when she found out that her husband was shot dead.

Playroom
Not far from the solarium is a games room where presidents can play billiards. Several presidents have their own pool tables, sometimes they are located in modern rooms. It is unclear when the game room, the former bedroom, became the game room, but, according to the White House Museum, it dates back to at least the era of George W. Bush.
Small restaurant
The restaurant seats about 50 people and is not accessible to the public. If you're lucky, you can get an invitation from a senior White House official or cabinet secretary.
Chinese room
This room, as its name implies, contains White House porcelain. During the presidency of Martin Van Buren, this place was used as a bedroom for the person responsible for lighting the White House stove. In 1917, Woodrow Wilson dubbed it the Presidential Meeting Room, but since each president has his own porcelain, plates, cups, and bowls soon occupied this room.
First Ladies Room
Next to the Chinese room is the room of the First Ladies, which houses a collection of silver gilt dishes. It was converted from a common social room in 1956 when silver items were bequeathed to the White House by the American heiress Margaret Thompson Biddle.
