Origin

According to ancient stories, the Spirit of water lives in Lake White in Bashkiria. From time immemorial, pagans worshiped a deity and offered sacrifices to him. Over time, pagan beliefs disappeared, the victims ceased to offer. People are estranged from the forces of nature. And then the Water Spirit decided to remind himself, having destroyed the isthmus between the lake and the river. After that, hurricanes became more frequent.
The lake began to disappear, and people began to think how to save it. They bowed to the Water Spirit by the lake, and he told them what to do. Description
The eastern shore of Lake Bely (Bashkiria) is formed from a floodplain river terrace and floodplain. On them is urema, represented by birch, bird cherry, willow. There are picturesque sand beaches.
The West Bank is floodplain river terraces. Willow and grassy vegetation grows here.
The north coast is covered with floodplain forests, the south - with sand.
The inner world of the lake is filled with fish. Here live bream, crucian carp, carp. The taste of the fish of this lake is sweetish, it does not have any marsh odor.
Lake shores are formed of sand, clay and loamy soil. In the south there are remains of limestone deposits that appeared during the era of changes in the water level.
Protected area
Lake Beloe is located on the territory of the Beloozersky natural reserve, established in 1957. Since then, the flora and fauna of this place have flourished with magnificent colors.
Birds nest on the lake shores; a large number of ducks live here. Of the large animals in this area, foxes, martens, minks and moose are found. In total, 40 species of mammals and 120 species of birds are recorded in the reserve.
The following are subject to special protection:

- marten;
- mink;
- muskrat.
Mute swan, gray crane and partridge living in these parts are included in the Red Book of Bashkiria.

The popularity of the lake in recent years has been growing due to the construction of recreation centers in the area. There is a hotel complex, there is a sanatorium.
On the White Lake in Bashkiria, the recreation center has the same name as the reservoir. By car, you can reach it along the Sterlitamak highway. At Tolmazov, turn left in the direction of the Krasnousolsky sanatorium. Before reaching the village of White Lake, near the sign "Chuvash Nagadak" turn left, drive across, go down to the lake.
