Sue worked at a local dog kennel, where people often brought puppies. Days passed, but for a long time the couple could not find a puppy that she really liked. Finally, one day someone left the puppy they were looking for in the shelter, and the family took him home.
Nicknames were not mistaken with the choice
Robert immediately fell in love with him, and he and his wife came up with his nickname - Yogi Bear. This name was more suitable for a huge animal, but the puppy was quite miniature and weighed only about one pound. Sue did not know about the breed of this puppy, but she told her husband that this is an ordinary terrier and he will grow up a small dog. But the woman did not expect that a surprise awaits them with her husband.

It took the Yogi Bear only a few months to grow to enormous size. “He had a big tongue that rolled out of his mouth and a tail like a baseball bat, ” says Robert. He understood that his wife had deceived him, but it was not a deception, but rather a harmless invention.

Sue gave up and told her husband what really happened. And the truth was that Yogi Bear was a Boston Great Dane. These dogs can reach a weight of 70-100 kilograms.
Robert was upset, but he was already very attached to this dog. And now he decided to learn how to properly care for her and how to train her. “He is a very good-natured dog, it is impossible not to love him, ” says Robert.
