In Omsk there are many park areas, both old and recently opened. Among the oldest parks in Omsk, the most famous are: the park named after the 30th anniversary of the Komsomol and Victory Park.

Another green zone of Omsk can be called the Soviet Park, which is located in the Town of Oil Workers, not far from the Polytechnic University. The main avenue of the park leads to the descent to the local beach. It is made in the form of a multi-stage staircase. In this corner of nature, you can also find attractions traditional for Omsk parks, such as the Ferris Wheel, the Whirlwind, and so on. This complex becomes especially picturesque in winter, when an ice fort breaks up here, as a rule, which is a smaller model of the Kremlin with several ice slides.

If you are a big lover of outdoor recreation, then, of course, you should visit the Bird Harbor nature reserve, which includes three lakes connected by a canal.
In this area there are several species of wild birds, whose life can be observed while strolling near water bodies. As for swimming, it is prohibited in Bird Harbor. But if you leave this reserve and cross the roadway along a rather convenient passage that does not contain any stairs and flows directly from the walking path, you can find yourself in Victory Park. This is the most patriotic of Omsk parks already mentioned in the article. Here in the warm season you can sunbathe and enjoy the crystal clear water of the pits.
Of great interest is the green zone, named after the 30th anniversary of the Komsomol in Omsk. The park was once called the New Country Grove.
It was built around a local lake, which has a circular shape. Another interesting place to stay in the city of Omsk is a park called "Green Island". It is located near the same highway as Sovetsky Park, only a few stops earlier. Therefore, these two places are somewhat similar to each other. It also has its own beach and several attractions, which will be happy for both adults and children. Also in this park there is a stage where various concert events are held both by local artists and stars of the national scale.
Among other large green areas of the city, the park on Koroleva in Omsk rightfully occupies a special place. It is not permanent and is usually closed to visitors. But several times during the summer, the institution opens its doors to a large number of people.
