Where does the cost of living apply?
A fixed value of this indicator can be used for:
- work on the social policy of the state;
- in the process of developing social assistance programs for citizens;
- in assessing the standard of living of the population;
- in identifying groups of poor citizens who may require social support;
- when establishing the minimum wage (minimum wage);
- in the formation of the national budget.
It is possible to use the cost of living for other purposes.
