Omsk is a city in the south of Western Siberia, the administrative center of the Omsk region. It is located in the Ob river valley - one of the largest rivers in Siberia, in the zone of Siberian forest-steppes. The Trans-Siberian Railway passes through the city. Administrative division of Omsk

Soviet District

In the past, this area was called the city of oil workers and was built specifically for employees of local oil companies. Later, the town became part of Omsk. This area is also known as a student town, as there are as many as 5 higher education institutions. Therefore, there are many young people on the streets and quite noisy. Also, many oil engineers live here. And the presence of a refinery greatly affects air quality by industrial emissions.

Pervomaisky district is sandwiched between the Central and Soviet districts. The environment here is rather poor, due to the work of the enterprises of the company “Titan”.

Leninsky district

The Leninsky district of Omsk is located in the south of the city. It is distinguished by a good development of industry. Most of the area is occupied by the private sector. The area is convenient in terms of transport and accommodation; On its territory there are shopping and entertainment centers.

This is the most important region of Omsk. There are administrative and municipal buildings. Also here are concentrated entertainment facilities and attractions of the city. In other areas, all this is practically absent, which is one of the features of Omsk. Here and the most expensive real estate, and the highest gas contamination. Many come here every day to work. At the same time, industry in this area is not developed.
