Studying at a Moscow university, she became friends with an American, with whom she corresponded for a long time. This acquaintance of her came to her several times in Moscow and once in response invited her to visit her in America.
Departing from Moscow, a friend secretly hoping that she could stay in the United States - to find work or get married. But after 2 weeks, a friend returned home and then for a long time told in horror what she had to endure visiting her friend.

When inviting a friend to America, her friend immediately warned her that she was living in poor conditions - in a trailer park in Washington, near one of the local small towns.
Camping camps are called trailer parks in the United States, where people for a small amount (in the region of $ 30-50 thousand) buy cheap housing for themselves - a trailer on rented land.

An American friend of my friend, she said, was forced to move into the trailer after the company went bankrupt, in which she and her husband worked. Since then, for about a year now, she and her husband have not been able to find a normal job, interrupted by casual earnings.

Outwardly, as my friend said, the American trailer looked pretty decent. However, living in such a house, according to a friend, was not just uncomfortable, but sometimes even unbearable. According to her friend, in some dilapidated summer house-pimp in our country she would feel much more comfortable.
Hose, cans and shower
The most unpleasant thing that my friend encountered in an American trailer park was water problems. According to a friend, there was no water supply in her friend's trailer. Drinking water therefore had to be drawn from a hose extended from a nearby column.
But it was not so bad. Soul in the trailer, of course, was also not provided. I had to wash my friend in a cramped public shower, equipped a few hundred meters in the camp. At the same time, it cost such a pleasure as much as 50 cents in 2 minutes.
An American friend told her that there were times when she and her husband could not even afford to pay for a shower. Then she just had to wash her hair in a local public restroom.
Own toilet in the American trailer was available. Moreover, for the happiness of my friend during her stay in America, he worked without fail. However, according to the American, in severe cold the pipes in it usually freeze.

Another problem of my friend visiting the USA was the cold. The walls of the American trailer were completely insulated. As a friend said, waking up in the morning, she several times found that the edge of her blanket in contact with the wall was covered with hoarfrost.
In any case, the blankets in the “house” of her friend were constantly damp. Every morning I had to hang out for drying and airing. But still, in some places, mold was noticeable on them.
Where's the fridge?
Her acquaintance did not have in the “house” not only a shower, but also a refrigerator and a microwave. The only serious electrical appliance used in the trailer was a small, low-power tile.
And it was not at all that her unemployed friend could not buy a refrigerator. In fact, the trailer just had a very bad and old wiring. She would simply not be able to withstand a large number of electrical appliances.
