The contract service in the army has the following disadvantages:
- The main disadvantage of this work is the almost complete loss of communication with people from the “past life”. - The appearance of a soldier can be very annoying, because he has been in the same uniform for three years (minimum term). Many people want to dress exactly as they want, and not as it should.
- The character of a person during the course of service changes dramatically. In an army, you must constantly defend yourself. When a soldier gets home, in an "ordinary" life, he simply has no one to defend himself from. And then problems begin with people and even with the law. Of course, military service under the contract has the following advantages:
- Many soldiers make their choice in favor of the army precisely because of the impressive salary and the absence of problems with its distribution. Stability is an important factor in this matter. If a person receives about a thousand dollars for the defense of the Fatherland, then he is not ashamed to answer the question of what his profession is.
- Benefits in various fields. Free meals, real estate discounts, travel to the place of the main vacation, etc. Benefits in such quantities are offered to representatives of far from all professions. This factor also indicates the prestige of military service.
- Also a very important aspect is that military personnel have the opportunity to retire fairly quickly. This period is 20 years. If a person has a desire to continue serving, no one will forbid him to do this.
- Ease of work and a positive change in life principles. In the process of serving, soldiers get used to the fact that any requests are accepted as an order. The servicemen do not have such words as “I don’t want”, “I won’t”, etc. By the way, in the army orders are executed without any excuses. The soldiers rely only on themselves and clearly fulfill their responsibilities. Obviously, this is why some non-serving guys are somewhat reminiscent of young children.
