In the small town of Como, a team of builders discovered one of the greatest treasures in the history of the country.

Work went on continuously for several months, although in mid-November the process was suspended. In the pit, one of the workers stumbled upon something strange.
The item in question turned out to be an old vessel. But while the container itself was certainly a significant find, its contents turned out to be a much bigger treasure.
In the pottery lay gold coins, hundreds of coins, each of which was brighter than the previous one. The workers were stunned. They called the authorities to tell about the treasure they had found.
When the experts arrived at the construction site, they stated that there were not one, not two, but three hundred gold coins in the vessel. Moreover, the coins were stacked in even rows.

At the moment, the coins will remain in the restoration laboratory in Milan, where scientists will continue to try to uncover the secrets of their origin. Once they do, the artifacts are likely to be returned to Como.
