How open is the government?
In recent years, the authorities of different countries have been trying to get closer to ordinary citizens, flirting with young people. Ordinary television news or newspaper articles are too boring, so anyone interested can go online. Online broadcasting is a direct line between the voter and the politician. No more omissions, and the population sees with their own eyes the work of officials. How did the broadcast work?
The start of the meeting was … boring. No swearing, eccentric costumes or loud statements. Participants represented The Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), the lead party. Parliament in turn gave the floor to the ministers: and when it was Shavkat Yusuvzay’s turn to answer journalists' questions, a miracle happened! On top of the image of respectable gentlemen appeared rosy cheeks, black buttons of spouts, thin cat's antennae and charming ears.
Perhaps the speakers were talking about something really serious. But after what happened, the audience was unable to perceive mournful speeches, indulging in emotion and enthusiasm on Twitter.
