Marriage

In 2018, the guy would have turned 27 years old. They decided to name the child Konstantin - in honor of his grandfather Vitaly through his father.
Seven years later, Svetlana became pregnant with her second child. On March 7, 1998, Constantine's sister, Diana, was born. The name for the baby was chosen by the brother. Plane crash
In the summer of 2002, the wife of Vitaly Kaloev with children decided to fly to Barcelona. At that time, the man worked there on one of the construction projects and for almost a year he did not see his relatives. For a long time a woman could not buy tickets for that ill-fated flight. However, several seats were vacated almost at the last moment.
On the night of July 1 to 2, when the plane flew over Germany, he collided with a cargo Boeing. Both crews died, no one managed to survive. In addition to the Kaloevs, on board there were more than 50 children who flew from Ufa to Spain to spend summer vacations. All of them were awarded with tickets abroad for excellent study and victories in the Olympiads.
A specially created commission established that tragedy could have been avoided if it had not been for the mistake of the air traffic controller - the young guy Peter Nielsen. He gave conflicting instructions to both crews. They realized too late that a clash was inevitable.
After the tragedy
Upon learning of the incident, Vitaly immediately flew to Germany to the scene. He asked the staff to do identification. At first, the man was not allowed into the cordoned off territory, but after they learned about the death of his whole family, his anger changed to mercy.
Vitaliy was able to find the bodies of his relatives - he discovered the torn beads of his daughter, and then her remains. He sought out his son and wife. Unsuccessfully, police and psychological help tried to calm a heartbroken man.
Some time later, a monument was unveiled at the site of the tragedy - huge torn beads scattered in the meadow. They belonged to Diana Kaloeva.
