Actress Evgenia Melnikova was born at the end of June 1909 in a simple family of indigenous Muscovites. My father was a mechanic, worked at the factory, my mother was raising children - in addition to Eugenia, there were three more girls in the family. The first steps
After leaving school in 1930, the girl entered the State College of Cinematography in Moscow, graduated from it, and then began working. Immediately after the release of "Pilots" on the screens, the actress was noticed by Grigory Alexandrov and Lyubov Orlova. They wanted the actress to star in the movie Circus. Filming the movie screenings even entered the final version of the picture - when the heroine Melnikova Raechka and Marion Dixon quarrel. The next morning, the girl woke up famous. As well as to Lyubov Orlova, fans came to her and guarded her near the entrance, a lot of letters came to Eugenia's address.
"Girl with character"
Then the script for the film "Girl with Character" was written and specially prepared for Melnikova. However, she became pregnant and could not take part in the filming. No matter how they persuaded the girl to act, she was adamant and believed that in the first place at this moment should be a family, then a movie.
The main role had to be rewritten and adapted to another actress - Valentin Serov, who eventually agreed to play in the picture. After this role, the actress woke up truly famous.
Daughter Evgenia Konstantinovna Melnikova named Galina - in honor of her heroine in the "Pilots". After the birth and the end of the war, the woman returned to television, however, she began to play not young girls, but grandmothers, mothers, wives.
