The modern film industry is famous not only for painfully familiar actors and actresses, but also for young talents who are ready to pick up the baton at any time. One of such promising and promising young people is the Ukrainian actor Alexander Gavrilyuk.
General information about the life of an actor
Alexander is a handsome and charismatic young man born on February 24, 1990 in Kiev. He was educated at the Kiev Municipal Academy of Variety Arts, where in the famous workshop of the honored Ukrainian artist Moskvin S.K., he managed to learn to be a conversational artist.
Student years of Alexander
During his student life, Alexander Gavrilyuk did not miss the moment to practice acting. To this end, he took part in domestic university productions, and also played in the theater. So, he got the role of Victor in the play of A. Arbuzov “Irkutsk history”. He then played Robbie Rose in The Illusion of A. Kureichik and Kochkarev in Gogol's Marriage in 2010.
In the period from 2009 to 2011, the young man became an honorary member of the KVN theater under the name “Strange People”. This time, Alexander had to change the role of a drama actor and appear before the audience in a new comedy genre for him.
At the end of 2011, Alexander Gavrilyuk again returned to the theater, where he was offered roles based on popular classical works. So, he got the role of Sam Telfer in "The Abduction of Johnny Dorsett 3", as well as Sagalov and Ivan Vasilievich Lomov in Chekhov's "Proposal".
Graduation and participation in commercial projects
After five years of study, Alexander received a diploma and went to storm the most famous TV channels and television companies in Ukraine. In this almost non-monetary period, Alexander Gavrilyuk (actor) was ready for any job that corresponded to his profile. Therefore, he boldly undertook any projects, including commercial productions, theatrical and pop.
So, he played Cossack Gray in the project “How the Cossacks Saved the New Year”, and in the fantastic play “Alice in Wonderland” he got two roles at once: Dummy (crazy Hatter) and a funny, always hurrying Rabbit.
Later, he was invited to the main cast of the social theater called “Prestige”, where he periodically works today. According to him, playing in this theater takes most of his time, but he is always open to interesting offers and new projects.
Advertising and first film projects
Since mid-2007, Alexander Gavrilyuk (you will find a photo of him below) began to take his first steps in the cinema. The first film in which he was offered to star was Antisniper 2. However, his episodic role did not bring the proper result, and the actor managed to return to the cinema only six years later.
So, in 2013 he was invited to play a theft suspect. His character was called Paul. The series itself, where Alexander took part in the 8th series, was called "The Return of Mukhtar 8". Further, in the same project, but already in the 36th episode, the actor played an ordinary printing worker.
And although the first roles of Gavrilyuk were small and very episodic, they became decisive for him. So, right after the beginning of the ninth season of “Mukhtar” Alexander was again called on to the project. This time he got the role of street thief Fedi.
From that moment on, he began to appear more and more on the set. And due to his appearance, he was invited not only to play a movie, but also to shoot in advertising. For example, right after the first role, Fedi Alexander had to play an important sales assistant of the Foxtrot trading network. Later, he was involved in the promotion of the “New Channel” and starred in the advertising of TM “Myasna Vesna”.
Of the last films where the actor was shot in 2015, there was a cameo role of a journalist in Skates for the Champion.
Directorial work of Gavrilyuk
Not so long ago, the actor first tried himself in the role of the director. So, with his participation, a wonderful and vivid play “Alice in Wonderland” was released, and later it was he who actively contributed to writing the script for an amazing entertaining musical for children called The Little Mermaid.
Alexander Gavrilyuk: “Matchmakers”
The most significant for a young and promising artist was an invitation to the multi-part family series “Matchmakers”. In it, he not only played the role of a young man of one of the main characters, but also appeared before the audience in the form of a singer with a beautiful and melodious voice. The wonderful Ukrainian actress Anna Koshmal helped him in this, who played the role of the girl Gavrilyuk in the sixth part of the comedy series “Matchmakers”.
This time, Alexander Gavrilyuk and Anna Koshmal sang a duet. And the song “I Without You” in their performance turned out to be extremely touching, romantic and beautiful, which attracted the attention of the public.
Brief information about Anna
Anna is a pretty young actress, a native of the city of Kiev. From a young age she was fond of music and dancing. According to the actress herself, she was never an ideal child. On the contrary, she, like everyone else, suffered from complexes and experienced a difficult transitional age.
During this period, Anna ran away from home, and planned to leave with friends away, so as not to depend on anyone and live without parents. However, this did not stop her from graduating from music and theater school.
The girl got to the shooting of the fifth season of “Matchmakers” right after the casting. And she met with Alexander Gavrilyuk on the set of the sixth season of the series. At this momentous moment, Alexander Gavrilyuk and Anna Koshmal (a photo of her can be seen below) and sang their crown song.
Creative work of the actor with children
Not so long ago, the actor decided to seriously engage in teaching children. To this end, he opened a creative studio, which he called INTERPLAY - "Planet of the Arts." In it, Alexander, together with other teachers began to teach the following disciplines:
- acting and theater;
- gymnastics;
- the art of mime;
- modern dances;
- classical choreography.
At his school, Alexander Gavrilyuk is engaged in individual work with children from the age of 5 years, performs the production of dance and theater numbers, and also provides training before entering theatrical educational institutions. According to the artist, he is happy to be engaged not only with children, but also with adults who want to learn the acting profession.
In addition, Gavrilyuk gladly agrees to the role of leading corporate parties. He also often appears as a toastmaster at weddings and other events.

The fact that Alexander is a comprehensively developed personality has been known for a long time. Whatever work he undertakes, he must succeed in it. For example, in September last year, the actor took part in the filming of a clip of the well-known Ukrainian band “Scream of Souls”, which is gaining popularity.
