Strizhenov Oleg - actor of the Soviet and Russian theater and cinema. Since 1988 - People's Artist of the USSR. For more than 50 years he has served at the Moscow Theater of the Film Actor and at the Russian Theater of Estonia. Biography
Oleg Alexandrovich was born in Blagoveshchensk in 1929, on August 10. The artist's father went through the Civil and Patriotic War, and his mother was a teacher in schools in Finland and Russia. A few years after the birth of the third child, the Strizhenovs moved to Moscow. During the Second World War, Oleg worked as a mechanic in the workshop of the Scientific and Research Film and Photo Institute.
Then he went to study at the Technical Technical University (fake department). In 1953, Oleg Strizhenov graduated from the Schukin School and joined the troupe of the Russian Drama Theater, located in the capital of Estonia. Here, the artist served one season, after which he went to Leningrad. Strizhenova was accepted into the LATD team. Pushkin, however, the story repeated itself again, and after one season he moved to Moscow. In 1957, Oleg Alexandrovich began performing on the stage of the Theater Studio of the film actor.

Being an artist of the Moscow Art Theater. Gorky, he participated in the following productions: “The Seagull” (the role of Treplev), “Three Sisters” (Tuzenbach), “The Copper Grandmother” (Nicholas I), “Mary Stuart” (Mortimer), “Guilty Without Guilt” (Neznamov) and etc. In the Russian Theater of Estonia Oleg Strizhenov played Netudyhatu in the play “Above the Dnieper” and the essayist Gruzdy in the “Restless Character”. At the State Theater of the Film Actor, he took part in the reading program “Sergey Yesenin”, the staging “The Wide Shrovetide”, the stage compositions “Masquerade” and “Anna Snegina”.
Filmography
The debut picture of the artist was the 1951 social comedy “Sports Honor”, in which he got the episodic role of a fan in a restaurant. Over the next few years, Strizhenov played the main characters in the dramas The Mexican, the screen versions of Walking Over Three Seas, Captain's Daughter, Gadfly, and Forty-One. Thanks to the filming in the above tapes, the actor won the love and recognition of millions of fans of Soviet cinema.
In 1959, Oleg Alexandrovich appeared in the title role in the film adaptation of the work of F. Dostoevsky “White Nights” and in the disaster film “Life is in Your Hands”. He then played key characters in The Queen of Spades, The Duel, The Northern Tale, and In the Dead Loop. In 1965, Strizhenov appeared in the image of the astronaut A. Borodin in the biographical film “Roll Call” and P. Tchaikovsky in the drama “Third Youth”.
The fantastic comedy “His Name was Robert” and the film adaptation of L. Yushchenko’s short story “Unconjured” became the next legendary film masterpieces with the participation of Oleg Alexandrovich. In 1972, he played Lev Manevich in the military adventure film "Earth, on demand." Later, the premiere of the drama “The Last Victim” (the role of the impoverished nobleman Dulchin) and the historical and romantic film “Star of captivating happiness” (Prince Volkonsky) took place.
In the 80s Oleg Strizhenov performed the key characters in the films “Not to be announced”, “Proceed to liquidation”, “Youth of Peter” and “Mr. Veliky Novgorod”. In 2000, he appeared in the role of A. Gagarin in the film "Instead of Me." The last work of the actor today is the Ukrainian detective series "Five Stars".
