Alexander Filippov (photo below) is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a striker (forward) in the Desna club from the First League. As a member of the Chernihiv club, he appears under the tenth number on a T-shirt.

Biography
Alexander Filippov was born on October 23, 1992 in the city of Avdeevka (Ukraine). From early childhood, he began to play football, is a pupil of the Donetsk UOR (School of Olympic Reserve), which he played in the youth football league of Ukraine from 2006 to 2009. In 2011, Alexander signed a professional contract with the Kiev Premier League Arsenal. The first season he spent in the doubles, often came out in the starting lineup and performed effective actions in the attack.
The debut for the adult team took place on November 25, 2012 in a match against Dynamo Kyiv, where the gunners suffered a crushing defeat with a score of 0: 4. In subsequent games of the Ukrainian championship, Alexander Filippov became increasingly involved in the main team, however, he still played a significant number of games as part of the youth team.
At the end of the 2013 season, the young striker had six matches in the Ukrainian Premier League, and in all he came out as a replacement in the last minutes of the game. Career in Mariupol "Illichivets"
In February 2014, A. Filippov signed a professional contract with Illichivets as a free agent. The footballer did not get into the main team, but was appointed to the team of reservists. Subsequently, Alexander Filippov never made his debut for the Mariupol club.

Transition to Desna: career at the Chernihiv club
In the summer of 2016, Alexander Filippov signed an agreement with Desna from Chernigov, who play in the First League. Here, the striker quickly got a place in the first team and began to score goals. At the time of spring 2018, Filippov had 44 matches for the club, in which he scored two dozen goals. In the 2016/17 season, Desna became the vice champion of the First League, receiving silver medals.
The taken second place provided the team with access to the top division - the Ukrainian Premier League. However, Desna did not pass the proper certification in order to comply with the UPL status team. Around this decision has grown a lot of public outcry. The club management expressed its dissatisfaction on this occasion, noting that in Ukrainian football there are no sporting principles that are confirmed by the result, but only money, communications and corruption.
