The moral standards of any culture consist of compliance with ethical attitudes and the admissibility of deviations from them. In addition, you can lead an immoral life without even denying the generally accepted unwritten laws, but simply not fitting into them with the flow of your thoughts and attitudes. Thus, many ingenious writers and artists with their own vision of creativity remain incomprehensible outcasts all their lives. However, immorality can be malicious, provocative and dangerous to others.

The principles of immorality and violation of moral behavior

The concept of morality cannot be uniform for all peoples, therefore, getting from one country to another, crossing continents, you involuntarily change not only the geographical position, but also the conditional framework of acceptable behavior. But this is a global concept. More narrow concepts of moral norms are enclosed in micro-societies in which a person constantly rotates. Each of us has at least two such “frame” perimeters — this is home and work (study).

A personal perception of morality gives rise to the personality of the environment of the current time period. It cannot be considered as the standard of correct behavior in modern Russia that made a person highly cultured in the 17th century in France. This is just as untrue as transferring our idea of female modesty to the current Muslim society, where even a woman is reading some books as an immoral lifestyle.

This is primarily said about the mass character of the concept of morality. There is no point in resisting it, since society immediately calculates in its ranks the dissent and isolates it. In this case, the measure of isolation is a prison, neuropsychiatric hospital, public control of supervisory authorities, etc. In the most favorable case, a person is simply removed from social ranks by moral exclusion.

Immorality as a Concept of Unlawfulness

There is no doubt that an immoral lifestyle would be less rare if the measures taken against standard cases of misconduct were toughened at least to public censure, which is not always the case. Often, it would seem that harmless hooliganism grows to grand forms of extortion, violence, theft (robbery) only thanks to connivance on the part of a “prosperous” society.

The absence of a criminal offense in most immoral acts allows citizens who are mired in an immoral labyrinth to feel relatively protected. Public works, fines and other types of administrative punishment rarely bring the expected result and only deeper push the lost person into exasperation against cultural behavioral norms.

Immoral behavior in the family

The most severe form of immoral lifestyle, of course, refers to violations of the intrafamily nature. Both parents automatically fall under the stamp of “trouble”, since the inability to resist the tyranny of moral ugliness of one of the spouses also represents a lack of moral principles. If the father drinks and allows himself to threaten the life and health of family members, and the rest of the adults tolerate this, then their moral principles also seem dubious.

Especially painful is the situation when minors suffer from the immoral lifestyle of parents. In exceptional cases and with the vigilance of outsiders (teachers, kindergarten teachers, neighbors), the state pays attention to individual families and establishes supervision of such risk groups. Even more rarely, children are removed from their families, but this only happens after convincing evidence that living under the supervision of a child can endanger his life and morality.

The destruction of the child’s normal social adaptation is not only a direct threat to his physical health - the indirect side, affecting his personal concepts of norms, is equally important. This is the so-called “pressure” of parents aimed at each other - constant scandals, clarification of relationships, sometimes open, publicly shown connections between father and mother on the side.

Moral decline of children in antisocial families

The first emotional attack received from a child in the event of his constant, even involuntary participation in family conflicts or observing the parents' immoral lifestyle from the outside is fear, misunderstanding, and an unconscious distrust of what is happening. This and the next stage are skipped if such a situation has surrounded the baby from birth. Then, along with despair, the desire comes to restore understanding between parents.

The next stage is hopelessness, which (as a consequence of the nature of the child) can be followed: aggression, hatred or detachment, clogging. At this stage, autism develops in younger children, there is a delay in development, behavior changes for the worse. Older children leave the family, make attempts to commit suicide. Almost always this happens “pretense” - as a chance to give parents one more opportunity to change their minds, however, often such desperate decisions end in disastrous.
