Elizabeth (Betsy) Brandt - widely known for her role as Heather in the C.V. S TV show Life in the Details and Mary Schreider in the Breaking Bad TV Series AMC. Over her life, the actress took part in more than sixty television and film projects, starting in 1994.
Biography
Betsy Ann Brandt was born in Bay City, Michigan, USA, on March 14, 1976. Her mother Janet works as a teacher, and her father Gary Brandt works as an electrician. Betsy Brandt is of German origin.
She graduated from Bay City Western High School in Michigan in 1991.
Betsy Brandt was interested in theater from an early age. She was more interested in the technical side of the industry and directing, rather than playing roles. After she played a major role in the school production, she became interested in acting.
Betsy studied theater art at Harvard University, and also studied exchange at the Scottish Royal Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow. She studied at the Moscow Art Theater named after A.P. Chekhov.
She also attended the Institute of Illinois, Urbana, where she received an acting award in 2016.
After successfully completing her studies, Betsy Brandt moved to Seattle, Washington. There she worked in the theater and simultaneously starred in short films, the first of which was the painting "Confidential" in 1998, where she played the role of Natasha. After some time, Betsy moved to Los Angeles.
Personal life
Since 1996, Betsy Brandt has been married to her friend from the University of Illinois, named Grady Olsen. The couple has two children: Freddy and Josephine Olsen. Betsy's second child was pregnant during the filming of the second season of the series "Breaking Bad." The Brandt family currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
