And their true meaning is not so simple as it seems, and it is not so complicated for a wise person who knows how to live in peace with himself and in harmony with the creatures surrounding him.
What is the harmony of life, ancient thinkers already knew. How many meanings and shades of this word! A truly harmonious person is one who is able to not only look, but also see and feel the bottomless sky and stars, enjoy the quiet delights of sunrises and sunsets, observe the life of only a flower that has blossomed and a moth that has landed on it. What happiness it turns out to be - to dissolve in all this splendor, to become part of it!
But for some reason, we forgot how to be surprised at such things as life and death, day and night, spring and autumn. Still, because science has long given an explanation for all these phenomena. But their deep meaning is revealed only to those who really want it and are ready to accept it.
We take life for granted, often we don’t think in the hustle and bustle of everyday problems that we should slow down and just listen to the quiet rustling of leaves and grasshoppers chirping in the grass. People, why are you so blind and deaf ?!
Yet not everyone is so hopeless. Children know exactly what harmony is.
The word itself may not be familiar to them, but its meaning is absolutely clear. They live in harmony with themselves and their feelings, they know how to enjoy simple, seemingly things. How much enthusiasm (quiet or loud) gives them a simple insect hurrying about its insect matters. Where, tell me, does all this disappear with age and why is it so rare to stay with us for life? After all, then this life would certainly be the happiest!
What is harmony? This is a whole world of bright colors, this is a quiet summer night, this is a children's smile, this is life itself, in the end. The word “harmony” includes everything that peace of mind gives - a volume of Shmelev in the shade of an old tree, the sound of rain walking on the roofs, the subtle aromas of May and the bright sadness of September … Grandma’s hand in grandfather’s hand is also harmony. The opportunity to sit all evening on the rickety roof of the barn, bathe and enjoy the rays of the hot sun, watch how a weekly puppy rolls from side to side funny … Harmony spreads throughout the body from one touch to a little hungry kitten, from the thought that you saved him to anyone unnecessary life, this helpless ball of wool fed and warmed. True pleasure gives us life for our kindness, for with what faith and love this little lump will reward us!
No need to hide your face from the rain, otherwise you will never know what is harmony with nature. Without knowing the warmth of your beloved hands, you do not know the harmony of love. Without helping those who need it, you will not feel harmony with yourself. Without loving those who gave you life, you will not become a person and you will not understand what it means to become a real parent. And this is perhaps the most terrible punishment of the Lord.
And let these arguments resemble the romantic nonsense of a teenage schoolboy from the outback. Let be. The harmony lies in not thinking about such trifles. Only ourselves can give freedom of spirit to ourselves. Give warmth and kindness to the outside world, and he will repay you with the same coin!
