Concept designation
It is worth saying that this concept, on the one hand, does not have an exact, single designation, because it can be considered from social, political, legal and other points of view. Generally speaking, it is better to refer to the original source and translate the given word from the Latin language, which will mean “durable”. However, it is rather difficult to draw conclusions only on this designation. Therefore, it is worth considering this term from various points of view.
Social solidarity
Understanding what solidarity is, first of all it is best to turn to the concept of “social solidarity”. In this case, to reveal the term itself will be much easier and everything will become very clear. What does this mean? In short, this is the interdependence of people. It is based on the unity of certain actions or beliefs; this is a certain type of mutual assistance and support. Also, people can be in solidarity with each other if they face one goal that they are striving to achieve.
Political component

Labor solidarity

There is the concept of conveyor solidarity, when all people standing along the same machine perform the functions that are needed to achieve a result in a common business, thereby helping each other achieve the desired final result. Workers may be in solidarity not only along one machine, but also in one working group, company or other work unit.
Male solidarity
However, there are concepts such as female or male solidarity. The meaning of the word in this context will be slightly different. It is rather a household interpretation of the word. This refers to the support of representatives of the same sex in one or another case, even if by deception or some other type of dishonesty in front of representatives of the opposite sex. So, the husband can lie that he spent the evening with a friend, and not with his mistress. And the same comrade will confirm this, although this will not be true. This is what is called male solidarity. However, for the sake of truth, it is worth saying that today this concept has been slightly distorted and can be perceived in a deformed, incorrect meaning.
