Anapa Waterfalls: a must visit!
Waterfall - one of the most picturesque creations of mother nature. As you know, you can look at how water falls, forever. The sounds of falling, flowing or iridescent water really calm, evoke pleasant thoughts, improve our mood and make us forget about worldly concerns and difficulties.
In the vicinity of Anapa there are plenty of waterfalls! Among them, there are ten-meter giants, and very tiny river cascades. The most famous are Pshad, Gebius, Pearl, as well as waterfalls on the Zhane River. And which one is the most beautiful, it is very difficult to say.

Pshad Falls
Pshad waterfalls are a group of waterfalls of various sizes and heights in the Krasnodar Territory. In total there are about a hundred. This is a unique natural complex, which is visited by almost all tour operators and companies in Anapa.
Waterfalls are located in the vicinity of the village of Pshada, one hundred kilometers from the popular resort and ten kilometers from the sea shore. The most famous waterfalls are located on the Red River. The largest of them is Bolshoi Pshadsky (or Olyapkin), which falls down from a 9-meter rocky cliff.
It is easiest to visit Pshad Falls with an organized excursion group (the duration of such an excursion, as a rule, is 3-4 hours). You can get here from the Gelendzhik-Sochi federal highway either on foot or on off-road vehicles. Comfortable and non-slip shoes are recommended on your feet.
Pearl Waterfall
Pearl is the closest waterfall to Anapa. It is located just three kilometers from the village of Big Utrish. This waterfall is unique in that its jets fall from a rocky greenish cliff directly into the waters of the Black Sea!
Excursions to the Pearl Falls are very popular. You can only get here on foot (another alternative is on horseback). First you need to come to the village of Big Utrish, and then you should move along the beach in a southerly direction. Near the waterfall is a beautiful pebble beach where you can relax on the seashore.
