Jenson Button is the champion of Formula 1 (the world famous race) in 2009 and the famous race car driver from the UK. He played for the Brown team. He was a reserve racer and ambassador for the McLaren team. Jenson is currently competing in the Japanese Kunimitsu Super GT race.
Biography, the story of Jenson Button
Jenson Alexander Lyons Button was born in Froom, Somerset, UK, January 19, 1980. When he was little, his family moved to Wobster, a town near Frum. His mother, Simone Lyons, is of South African descent, and his father, John Button, is a well-known UK rally racer. Jenson Button's parents divorced when he was seven years old. The button was named after a friend of John, a rally rider from Denmark, Erling Jensen. Parents of the future rider changed one letter in his name to avoid association with the "Jensen Motors". Jenson Button called his father "Papa Smurf" by analogy with the eponymous character from the Smurfs universe.
On January 12, 2014, at the age of seventy, Jenson's father, John Button, died of a heart attack at his home in the French Riviera.
The future champion attended Vellis Elementary School, Selwood High School, and Frum Community College.
From an early age, Jenson Button was fond of racing. As a child, he participated in school BMX bike races, and then, at the age of nine, he went karting at the Clay Pidgeon Raysway training ground after John gave his son the first cards. Jenson quickly achieved success and came first in almost all competitions. When he was eleven, he won all 34 races of the British Cadet Card Championship.
The achievements did not end there. In 1997, seventeen-year-old Jenson Button became the youngest rider to win the Super A European Championship.
At eighteen, he left karting and went into auto racing. In the same year, his first victory was held in the Championship of the British Formula Ford, where he came first in nine races in a row. It is also a triumph of the British Formula Ford festival. At the age of eighteen, Jenson Button won the McLaren Motorsport BRDC. Young Driver Award.
In 1999, he began performing with the Promatecme team in British Formula 3. He won three times: at Silverstone, Traxton and Pembry. He finished the season as the best newcomer.

Personal life
Jenson Button is a resident of the Principality of Monaco, like many of his colleagues. The Button lives at the moment on the British island of Guernsey.
From 2000 to 2005, he had a relationship (and was even engaged) with actress Louise Griffiths. In 2009, Jenson's girlfriend became the Japanese model Jessica Michibata. Jenson Button and Jessica with five interruptions were together for five and a half years. In 2014, the couple became engaged in Hawaii, but a year later they announced a divorce. The model and race car driver remained in good friendly relations.
In 2016, Jenson Button began a relationship with model Britney Ward. Jenson recently announced that the couple is getting ready for the wedding.
On December 8, 2016, the Button received his Ph.D. in engineering from the University of Bath in Somerset.
