But if we look at the regions as a whole, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug is in first place today, in which Russian citizens receive an average of about 58 thousand rubles. However, this is not at all surprising, because it is here that most of the oil and gas in our country is extracted. It is worth noting that not only oil workers can boast high salaries in this region, for example, the average teacher in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug receives about 60 thousand rubles a month. Despite the fact that the Autonomous Okrug consists of only 7 cities and six districts, the population is quite satisfied with its standard of living and abundance.
Chukotka Autonomous Okrug
The second place in the list of regions where the highest average salary in Russia is recorded is rightfully occupied by the Chukotka Autonomous Region. To date, the average level of earnings here fluctuates at around 57, 000 rubles per month. However, for those who know what the Chukotka Autonomous Region is mainly engaged in, this is not news at all, because the main industry here is mining. Nenets Autonomous Okrug
Despite the fact that it is rather cold in this region of our country, the people here work very hard. Apparently, this is precisely why the Nenets Autonomous Okrug got into fourth place in the list of regions with the highest salaries in Russia. The average income of a working citizen living here is about 55 thousand rubles. In this case, the minimum basket of food costs about 4-5 thousand rubles. In general, it’s rather difficult to say that living in the Nenets okrug is simple, rather, quite the contrary. The main area of activity here is forestry, food and fishing. Well and the most important thing that brings high revenues to the region is the Vasilkovo-Naryan-Mar gas pipeline and sea ports, with the help of which it is possible to successfully realize most of the district’s products.
Magadan Region
And again, a region in which mining is considered the main activity. Magadan region, of course, is included in the list of those regions where the highest salaries in Russia. An average resident of Magadan receives about 54, 500 rubles a month, but given the remoteness of the region, as well as the fact that the cost of food and other goods necessary for everyday life is much higher than in other regions of Russia, everything is complicated. That is why the residents of this region have a very difficult time. The main activity here is gold mining and the fishing industry. However, many residents of Magadan are engaged in reindeer husbandry. The region differs from other cities of our country by inconstant climatic conditions and rich taiga forests. The average cost of a grocery basket is about 5.2 thousand rubles.
Tyumen region
About 48 thousand rubles today are received by residents of the Tyumen region, which brings our state about 2/3 of all oil produced in the country.
