In response to numerous complaints from residents of one of the Miami areas, local authorities decided to evict the peacocks from Coconut Grove. Now exotic birds will live far away from people and not interfere with them with their cries during the mating season.

Desperate situation

One of the locals, Andrews Candela, says that he was once grateful to fate for having settled in a picturesque area next to peacocks. However, later the man bitterly regretted his decision.

The thing is that peacocks during the mating season shout loudly and wake people at dawn. Plus, they scratch cars. True, not on purpose. Simply, passing a car, the bird sees its reflection in the mirror and, thinking that it is an enemy, begins to beat its beak on the glossy surface of the car.

Well, of course, peacocks, like all other birds and animals, leave traces of life behind themselves. And since about eighty peacocks lived in the Coconut Grove, the territory was completely contaminated. Plus there was an unpleasant smell.

Then the locals could not stand it and turned to the authorities for help. They decided to first reduce the number of peacocks, but then they realized that this was not the best way out, and simply moved them away from people.
