Most able-bodied residents of Lower Apsha (Tyachevsky district, Transcarpathian region) work in far abroad countries. Mostly engaged in construction or work in the service sector.
About half of the inhabitants of the village left Ukraine, settling in Western Europe. They rent their beautiful mansions, similar to royal mansions.
Rich and legendary
The first palaces appeared in Lower Apsha in the 80s of the last century, when Ukrainian Romanians had the opportunity to go abroad to work. For those who could not leave, the opportunity to get rich appeared only in the beginning of the 90s.

The main attraction of this area, attracting the attention of tourists, is the church of the beginning of the XVII century, erected in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. According to some sources, this ancient temple was built earlier - in the second half of the 16th century.
In the village there is another shrine - the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul. Locals erected it in 1997.
