He knew what war was firsthand. As a boy, he went to the front and fought heroically against Nazi Germany. This is enough to call this artist a great man. Childhood and youth
Ivan Sergeyevich Kosykh was born on November 11, 1925 in the city of Alapaevsk. The boy grew up in a simple but loving family. Ivan Sergeyevich's father, Sergei Ivanovich Kosykh, was an ordinary worker, mother Natalya Petrovna - was engaged in household chores.
Since childhood, the future artist showed interest in music, so after graduation he goes to enter the Ural State Conservatory. Mussorgsky is a button accordion class (in the future, his skills in playing the instrument will be useful to him for work in the cinema). However, Ivan Kosykh failed to finish it - in 1943 he left as a volunteer to defend his homeland.
Post-war and student years
After demobilization, in 1946, our hero enters the Sverdlovsk school of film actor. There he studied for 2 years, and then transferred to VGIK to the acting department, and they took him immediately to the third year. Its leaders were the Soviet theater and film director S. Yu. Yutkevich and the legendary film director M. I. Romm.
Theatre
After graduation, a new interesting period begins in the biography of Ivan Kosykh. At the beginning of the 50s he was accepted into the staff of the theater-studio of a film actor. He worked there until 1990, after which he went on a well-deserved rest. This theater gave him many wonderful roles: Turkenich ("Young Guard"), Ivan Roshchin ("Three Soldiers") and others.
Movie
In the movie, Ivan Kosykh begins acting in 1950. Basically, he plays serious and courageous characters. However, there are also negative heroes in his arsenal: remember, for example, the film "They were actors", where Ivan Sergeyevich was in the role of a traitor. Also, the artist managed to play twice the Russian revolutionary - Vladimir Ilyich Lenin.
For all his creative activity, actor Ivan Kosykh managed to play in more than a hundred films, including: “Faithful friends”, “Colleagues”, “Trotsky”, “With and without you”, “Red Square”, “Entertainment for the old people”, Honest Magical, and many others.
Personal life and the famous son of the actor
In addition, our hero was also a wonderful family man. In 1960, Ivan Kosykh marries his childhood friend Ninel Dmitrievna, who at that time already had two children - Vyacheslav and Victor. The first, by the way, followed in the footsteps of his stepfather and became a professional theater and film artist. Three years after the wedding of Ivan Sergeevich and Ninel Dmitrievna, their daughter Natasha is born.
