Earth's population has exceeded 7 billion. So many people need to be fed, dressed, put on shoes, and provided a place to live. And each person, in addition to the most urgent needs, also has his own interests. Moreover, developed countries are leading in this regard. Therefore, the answer to the question of how a person affects nature is unambiguous.

The impact of society on the environment is becoming more noticeable every year. There are practically no places on the planet where people would not have reached. In the most climate-unfavorable areas, mining is in progress. Humanity has become very gluttonous. Now, probably, the entire periodic table is used. Many people think that oil is processed mainly into fuel intended for transport. They are deeply mistaken, the main consumer of oil is the chemical industry. Almost all artificial materials are made from oil. Recycled materials are used in minimal quantities. And, as you know, oil reserves are by no means infinite. If you add the damage that is caused to nature due to accidents at chemical plants, and they happen regularly, the picture is bleak.

How does a person affect the nature around him? The vital activity of every living organism always leads to a change in the environment. A simple example: a Colorado potato beetle destroys hectares of potatoes. He influenced the amount of harvest, and

means changed the environment around him. The beetle, of course, is a small creature, it takes in strength and excellent appetite. He has limited options. What can not be said about a person, he is naturally given the ability to transform the environment around him. Unfortunately, few representatives of the human race take this opportunity with good goals. How much garbage we throw, and also anywhere. Are we wondering how long a plastic bottle or packaging should lie before it decomposes? Not one millennium …

Anthropogenic impact on nature is also expressed in the huge consumption of fresh water. If we just consumed it, it would return according to the water cycle in nature, known to every schoolchild. But we pollute it

and for the most part, the returned water can no longer be used without additional cleaning. Industrial effluents and the use of household chemicals remove large volumes of water from the natural cycle.

How does man influence nature yet? It affects, of course, renewable resources: forests and seas. The number of forests is declining every year. And this leads to climate change both in a separate region and on a planetary scale. Since the forest is clean air, regulation of rainfall, production of fertile soil. The number of forests regulates the flow of air. Fewer forests, more open spaces - the speed of air movement increases. Is this not the reason for the frequent destructive hurricanes in those places where they simply cannot be, and the desert sands on the savannahs? We catch fish from the ocean for hundreds of tons, half of which simply disappears, while leaving other marine life without food. Is it possible to say that this is in the order of things?

We know how a person affects nature. Our task is to take all measures in order to minimize this impact. Everyone should ask themselves: "What can I do to stop exploiting and destroying my own house so thoughtlessly?"
