Zlatolith stone, despite its natural beauty and brightness, does not belong to the class of precious stones, but it cannot be called a simple cobblestone either. This is a very valuable and environmentally friendly mineral, used in most cases for decorative decoration, so beautiful in its final form that it seems unrealistic.

Zlatolith: discovery of stone

This wonderful stone was known to many ancient peoples, however, they did not know anything about its features, much less about the miraculous properties.

Possessing incredible beauty, the natural stone zlatolit (photo of the “raw” to that is vivid proof) simply attracted their eyes. It was considered great luck to find a breakaway piece of this mineral in any of the caves.

Thanks to all the same beauty, our distant ancestors greatly overestimated its real value and cost, but could not get it, because of the hardness of goldilite and unsophisticated tools. The re-discovery of this beautiful stone dates back to our time, most recently, stunning gold deposits were found in the Urals, in the Orenburg region. And then, for the first time in the history of mankind, its production began on an industrial scale.

The origin of goldilite and its natural features

Modern scholars share the view that goldstone was formed on our planet about 500, 000, 000 years ago, back in the days of the Middle Paleolithic. Due to its high density, this mineral is considered a metamorphic rock belonging to the category of heavy-duty stones.

Zlatolite is classified as a close relative of granite and diorite, but in fact in this regard it is closest to quartzites, and this is directly indicated by its sparkling and sparkling appearance. He is very pleasing to the eye. The photo in the article demonstrates how “living” the stone is gold, but it is not able to convey the incomparable, life-giving heat emanating from it.

The beauty of this stone is primarily due to the impregnation of precious metals such as gold and silver (hence its name), as well as its amazing ability to reflect and refract light, even in its raw form.

During finishing works, its resistance to moisture, weathering and harmful substances in the atmosphere is most appreciated. Thanks to these qualities, zlatolit is practically eternal, its life cycle is estimated by experts at 1500 years.

The amazing properties of goldilite

There is an opinion among the people (it is not possible to confirm or refute it) that goldstone is endowed with amazing miraculous power.

Its properties go far beyond the usual understanding, for example, numerous healing properties are attributed to it, supposedly it supports the body in tone, while maintaining working capacity and vitality. This mineral has a beneficial effect on the nervous system and supposedly even “feels” a person’s mood, especially in moments of despair and deep grief.

Zlatolith is also credited with anti-aging properties and, in addition, the maintenance of masculine strength. Whether it is true or not, it’s rather difficult to say, but knowing that stones, like a person, have a soul, this seems quite possible.

The use of goldilite: purpose and application

As already mentioned, zlatolite is mainly used for decoration, less commonly, stone is used to make all kinds of crafts, figurines, souvenir trinkets, etc.

Despite its hardness, the stone is easy to process: sawing, drilling, polishing, and in this it has a lot of advantages compared to the same granite. Possessing a homogeneous body, zlatolite is able to withstand enormous pressure, does not crumble at all, and having a very low radioactive background, it is perfect for both exterior and interior decoration.

Natural stone zlatolit green is one of the most common, but it can be of a wide variety of shades: from a few nondescript to just fantastic.

The scope of this wonderful stone is also wide, it is made of:

  • facing and paving slabs;

  • steps and stairs;

  • roofing materials;

  • socles and parapets;

  • front and garden elements;

  • materials for facing pools and bathtubs.

In a word, from goldilocks you can do everything that only the soul desires, well, or at least tell the imagination.
