In 2014, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan took 8th place in the world and 3rd in Europe in the ranking of the fastest growing cities.

Such rapid development is promoted by the policy pursued by the authorities of the republic, and the date that arrived at the beginning of this century is the millennium (the boundary between the millennia) of the city, which the inhabitants of the capital met with dignity, transforming beloved Kazan.

Transformation

By the millennium of Kazan, which fell on 2005, the city began to actively change its appearance: new interesting buildings began to appear and old ones were restored. By this solemn date, such objects were erected as the beautiful Kul-Sharif mosque, the Kazan metro, the bridge, which they called “the Millennium”. Sports facilities were erected - a new hippodrome, a sports multifunctional complex Tatneft-Arena. With the support of the governments of Moscow and St. Petersburg, the streets bearing the names of the main cities of Russia were restored.

Center for International Events

And then Kazan became the center for various international events, to the beginning of which the city erected new objects of extraordinary beauty. It all started with the World Weightlifting Championship, held here in 2011, then in 2013, 2014 and 2015. Kazan hosted various international competitions, championships and the Universiade.

This indicates not only that the city is able to adequately host events of this level, but also that it is unusually beautiful, and it has something to surprise guests from different countries.

Unique remodels

The Kazan Kremlin, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is undoubtedly beautiful, but new sites have become landmarks of this amazing city. Kazan is proud of all of them. The Palace of Farmers is considered by many to be the main attraction. The most beautiful of the new buildings are given below. These are the Kazan Family Center and the Ekiyat Puppet Theater, the Pension Fund and the Ring Shopping Center. The Cascade House and many, many more that Kazan has built in recent years are very good. The Palace of Farmers stands out from all of the above objects not only in size, but also in extraordinary architecture.

Rare style

Built in 2010, it is perhaps the only building of its kind not only in Tatarstan, but throughout the Russian Federation. The style in which the palace was erected is called the Boz-ar, or the eclectic architectural style, which dominated European and Russian architecture in the second half of the 19th century.

Image

It arose in contrast to the enthusiasm for the national Middle Ages and was a combination of the traditions of French Baroque and Italian Renaissance. This is the style Kazan allowed itself in the 21st century. The Palace of Farmers is very beautiful and unusually spectacular. Located in the heart of the capital of Tatarstan, near the northern wall of the Kremlin, he not only did not ruin the historical center, he adorned both the Central Square and the whole city - they really go to admire it from everywhere.

The pearl of modern architecture

Elements of classicism and empire are seen in the general style, which makes it appropriate to compare it with Petit Male - the Small Palace of Paris and the Imperial Hofburg in Vienna. And if you look at it from the side, it very much resembles the pompous Vittoriano in Rome (a monument to Victor Emmanuel II). These are the pearls of world architecture that Kazan has swung at. The Palace of Farmers, however, despite all the similarities, has its own beautiful individual face. Even the name of the Kazan landmark sounds fresh and peculiar, but it does correspond to reality - the Ministry of Agriculture is located in the palace.

Target project

The whole complex of the Central Square is thought out and designed in the same style. Elite housing buildings were erected next to the palace, stretching along the embankment of the Kazanka River. They were built by the same firm as the described building, and designed in the same luxurious style. All this splendor was erected in the Vakhitovsky district on the site of the demolished Fedoseevskaya street, built up with dilapidated housing. The central element of the palace is a 20-meter bronze tree. It is so unusual, unique, incomparable, and simply beautiful.

And above it on the roof of the building rises openwork dome, four more are located on the edges. In addition, it symbolizes crop production - because the palace was originally built (from 2008 to 2010) as the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture. Another one of a kind element is the leopards at the Palace of Farmers in Kazan. They, like reared horses, embody the theme of animal husbandry in the form of a building. The figures are located next to the four domes towering in the corners of the building.

Good day and night

The Palace of Farmers is delighted with its originality, the description of which will be incomplete if you do not say anything about the illumination in the dark. It is an element of architecture. At night, the building looks just as beautiful, but mystery is added to it. A tree stands out as a bright green spot in the center - the color marks the crown and symbolizes eternal life. Indeed, the Palace of Farmers (Kazan) can be considered the main attraction, the review of which is especially good from the embankment, but it is equally beautiful from any angle. It is good that from almost all sides you can see this unique building in the photographs. But in the territory of the nearby Kremlin there is an observation deck with a telescope, with which you can see the magnificent palace for 50 rubles and admire it for 3 minutes.
