A few words about the photographer and his photo
A native of Germany, Remmer was born in 1909. His father was an artist, and his mother was a photographer with his own studio. Later, Asmus inherited it, and at the end of work, in 1998, transferred it to his own son. He was a recognized master of genre, landscape and portrait shooting. In 1937 he passed the corresponding exam.
While serving in the army, he carried a camera everywhere. In the 60-90s. in the studio of Westerland he was engaged in printing pictures from a personal archive. Now anyone can meet them.
