Motorized rifle troops (MSV) of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are considered the most numerous. The basis of the Ground Forces (SV), which are the MSV, was formed in 1992. Upon arrival, the squad leader explores the area, determines firing positions for machine gunners, grenade launchers and machine gunners.

After the military personnel begin to equip the fortifications: the installation of mine-explosive barriers, digging and camouflage trenches. The task of these actions is to clear the terrain for observation and shooting as much as possible. In addition, soldiers dig several solitary trenches and one separate for the vehicle.
