However, a woman wants to be beautiful always, but what to do when the menstrual cycle begins? Is it possible to do sports during menstruation? Will physical activity harm health? These issues are very relevant, and to understand them is our task.

It would seem that each girl should independently decide when and how much to do and devote time to exercises. On the question of whether it is possible to engage in sports during menstruation, her own observations are of decisive importance: the nature of the uncomfortable sensations and the regularity of their appearance during sports. A significant part of modern young women in the "critical" days do not lose pep and vitality.

At the same time, there is a certain percentage of girls who gave a negative answer to the question of whether it is possible to go in for sports during menstruation, and in a categorical form. To engage or not to train during the menstrual cycle - each girl must decide for herself. If in the “red” days she is in a good mood and feels great, then there is no need to “take off” from playing sports. At the same time, experts recommend slightly reducing physical activity. Is it possible to do sports during menstruation? Of course yes. Moreover, training will “dull” the pain and increase muscle tone.

However, it must be remembered that if the doctors forbade you to perform certain exercises or recommended that you refrain from excessive loads, then you can’t ignore their instructions. Very often, the menstrual cycle is accompanied by dizziness, profuse discharge, and if such symptoms are present, it is necessary to leave the gym and consult a doctor.

However, during menstruation, it is possible to engage in sports provided that the pain is tolerable, and the training regimen is gentle.

During menstruation, women become less resilient, they become overworked faster, so it is better to avoid exercises with dumbbells or weights, aerobics or shaping. Such training contributes to the intensity of blood circulation, therefore, blood loss increases and the body quickly gets tired. Physical activity should be reduced by a third. We emphasize once again: what time to play sports is an individual matter, but general recommendations should be followed. For example, in the first “critical” days, weight training is not recommended, because due to the maximum tension of the muscles of the perineum and the anterior abdominal cavity, the amount of blood discharge increases significantly. In addition, during the menstrual period, metabolism is activated, which leads to profuse sweating, therefore, gyms must be aired, and clothing for classes should be selected as light as possible.
