And also in the Andriyaka Museum there are works by other brilliant representatives of the English school of the 19th century. Although these masters are little known to our viewers, in their homeland they enjoy well-deserved recognition. The collection is decorated with paintings by I. I. Navinsky, a painter and graphic artist.

A pleasant variety in the exhibition make the work of Chinese artists. They are a reminder that the basis of monumental masterpieces of oriental painting is a watercolor technique. The original samples included in the exposition, relating to the Soviet and modern periods of Russian illustration, show the diversity of its artistic possibilities.

In two halls of the MVK, occupying a central place, a permanent exhibition has unfolded. It presents the works of Andriyaka Sergey Nikolaevich. He, being a national artist of the Russian Federation, runs the School of Watercolor.

The exposition includes more than eighty paintings by the master, covering almost thirty years of his work. These are small sheets dating back to 70-80 years of the last century, and monumental paintings created recently. Among the latter are such as:

  • "Rain. Fog";
  • "Colorful irises";
  • "Crimea. Rocky cliff ";
  • "Lilac".
  • Norwegian Fjords, as well as many others.
