Andriyaka's watercolor school is also involved in museum and exhibition activities. This is the direction of her work, which is one of the priority ones. The museum and exhibition complex is located on an area of 650 square meters. m, its equipment is at a European level. In the halls of the complex hold exhibitions, lectures, music evenings, master classes. Next will be described in more detail about the Andriyaka Museum in Moscow, which is part of the MVK.
Large-scale exposure
It includes more than two hundred works of outstanding painters from different countries. The wide audience will see many works for the first time. This is about:
- landscapes of Ivan Shishkin, who was called the "poet of nature";
- watercolors by A.N. Benois, critic and talented art critic;
- sketches of P. A. Bryullov, a member of the Imperial Academy of Art.
The collection of Western European graphics on display at the Andriyaka Museum features names such as:
- James Holversi and Robert Hillsai, who were the founders of the Old Society of Watercolorists.
- Edward Korbuda. He spent about thirty years with the royal English family, where he taught historical painting.
Nice variety
And also in the Andriyaka Museum there are works by other brilliant representatives of the English school of the 19th century. Although these masters are little known to our viewers, in their homeland they enjoy well-deserved recognition. The collection is decorated with paintings by I. I. Navinsky, a painter and graphic artist.
A pleasant variety in the exhibition make the work of Chinese artists. They are a reminder that the basis of monumental masterpieces of oriental painting is a watercolor technique. The original samples included in the exposition, relating to the Soviet and modern periods of Russian illustration, show the diversity of its artistic possibilities.

In two halls of the MVK, occupying a central place, a permanent exhibition has unfolded. It presents the works of Andriyaka Sergey Nikolaevich. He, being a national artist of the Russian Federation, runs the School of Watercolor.
The exposition includes more than eighty paintings by the master, covering almost thirty years of his work. These are small sheets dating back to 70-80 years of the last century, and monumental paintings created recently. Among the latter are such as:
- "Rain. Fog";
- "Colorful irises";
- "Crimea. Rocky cliff ";
- "Lilac".
- Norwegian Fjords, as well as many others.
