Minsk is the capital of Belarus and, in combination, one of the most visited tourist centers in Russia and the CIS countries. Our compatriots love to travel to Minsk. Russian tourists chose this city for a reason, because it is located very close to our state, and the border crossing is not burdened with filling out some documents (you can get to Belarus by the internal passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation), in addition to everything, the majority of the population of the fraternal country speak Russian language. And, of course, the main reason for the popularity of the capital and other cities of Belarus among tourists is that there really is something to see there. In Minsk there are many interesting museums and galleries, unusual monuments, picturesque parks. One of the sights worthy of attention is the Museum of Nature and Ecology in Minsk. Museum History

The Museum of Nature and Ecology in Minsk is a fairly young museum. In 1983, the nature department of the State Museum of the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic was created. It was a small exposition dedicated to the nature of Belarus. Gradually the collection of the museum and exhibits became more and more. Therefore, in 1992, it was decided to reform the nature department into an independent State Museum of Nature and Ecology of the Republic of Belarus. Recently, namely since 2014, the museum is a branch of the National Historical Museum, which does not detract from its importance.

Exposition

The Museum of Nature and Ecology in Minsk is dedicated, as you might have guessed, to the nature and ecology of the Republic of Belarus. The permanent exhibition is located in several (five) rooms of the main building of the museum. In addition, at other addresses are buildings intended for temporary exhibitions. The collection of the Museum of Nature and Ecology in Minsk is made up of stuffed animals and birds inhabiting the country's forests and fields, the flora is also represented - the living conditions of animals are recreated in the windows, that is, the exhibits do not just stand in the middle of the hall, the museum employees tried to create vivid paintings of nature life of the region: here bears rest on the forest edge, but a fox hunts ducks by the lake. It is useful to visit such a museum with children, because in this way they join the world of their native flora and fauna, they clearly learn it.
