Angarskie Prudy is a recreation area in the Dmitrovsky district of the Moscow Autonomous Region Until recently, it was officially divided into three parks owned by various organizations. After the merger, the reconstruction of the green recreation area was carried out. Today it is a great place for family and sports activities. History reference
Until 2012, in the Dmitrovsky district of the Northern administrative district of the capital, three separate green zones were located close to each other: Korovinsky park, Apple orchard or Dmitrovsky park and VISKHOM park. These places lead their modern history from the 60s of the last century. In the green area, orchards were planted at the Moscow Institute of Agricultural Engineering. The old-timers of the district remember the time when, in place of the modern "Angarsk Ponds", delicious fruits and berries could be purchased at a very inexpensive price.
Here flows the stream Spirkov Vrazhek, which is a tributary of the Likhoborka River. In the 1960s, the source was enclosed in an underground collector. The stream of Spirkov Vrazhek feeds two ponds, their modern names are Big and Small Angarsk ponds. It was in honor of the reservoirs that the entire recreation area got its name.
The entire territory was open for walking and recreation for citizens in the 1990s. Around the same time, the shores of water bodies were landscaped and raised. In 2008 and 2012, the park was reconstructed and merged. Today it is an excellent natural recreation area, equipped for walking, sports and entertainment.

"Angarsk Ponds" is a picturesque green recreation area. A variety of trees and shrubs grow here, in the summer you can observe flowering flower beds and neat lawns. According to many residents of the region, the park is especially beautiful in spring, when jasmine, lilac, cherries and apple trees bloom abundantly.
The real highlight of the recreation area is two local ponds. There are two islands in the Big Pond, and there is a pier on its shore. Fish are found in the ponds; here you can see ducks and gulls. Year-round fishing lovers sit on the shores. In the warm season, swimming is allowed in the Big Pond.
Throughout the park there are pedestrian and bicycle paths with appropriate markings. The Angarsk Ponds delight their guests with a sufficient number of benches, gazebos and barbecue areas.
Sports and family vacations
After the reconstruction, an open stage was installed in the park, many playgrounds and sports grounds, and a fenced area for dog walking was allocated. Young guests of the park are invited to play in children's towns, designed for different ages. Teens and adult visitors can safely use the table tennis table. In the warmer months, water transport rental is available, where you can rent a boat, boat or catamaran.
Angarskie Prudy Park is ideal for bicycling, inline skating and scooter riding. There is a separate platform for extreme sports. In winter, an ice rink is open and ski slopes are laid. Many visitors to the recreation area practice Finnish and walking, running. Fans of more complex workouts will enjoy doing free simulators in the open air.
Attractions and entertainment
In the summer, the park has a zone of children's attractions. Kids here can jump on trampolines and ride on a train. Children will also like the local horse club “Cheerful Pony”. Tired of walking and active entertainment, you can visit one of the cafes. They sell snacks and drinks with them. You can enjoy a full meal while sitting on the cozy veranda. Some cafes offer banquets, weddings and personal events. In this recreation area, you can spend all day with pleasure. Many residents of the surrounding microdistricts proudly call the "Angarsk Ponds" one of the most beautiful and clean places in the capital.
