Pimashkov Petr Ivanovich was born on July 2, 1948 in Belarus. He studied at the Siberian Technological University and the Academy of Non-Ferrous Metals and Gold. He has a doctorate in economics. His parents were both teachers.
Peter Ivanovich began working in 1966, when he got a job at a combine plant. He started as a locksmith, finished as the head of the workshop. Already at that time I decided for myself that he would be engaged in political activities.
In 1991, he was appointed governor of the Sverdlovsk district of the city of Krasnoyarsk, and already in 1996, Peter Ivanovich won the mayoral election in Krasnoyarsk by a wide margin. In this position, he spent fifteen years, constantly circumventing all electoral candidates. Residents of the city voted for him four times, and almost all were unanimous. But in December 2011, Pimashkov Petr Ivanovich decided to leave his post and filed a letter of resignation. In the same year he entered the service of the State Duma, where he works to this day.
