On Earth, there are many fascinating natural phenomena that cause indescribable delight and admiration in people. Such are the waterfalls. Even the smallest of them attract attention with their mystery, crystal clearness and iridescent spray falling from a height.
Beautiful waterfalls are always of interest to tourists and travelers. All natural phenomena of this kind are unique in their own way. But there are those among them that I want to return to. One of such tempting places is the amazing waterfall of Brazil, which will be discussed in this article. But first, we will make a brief description of one of the most beautiful sections of the territory of this country.
Of course, not only Karakol (waterfall) in Brazil is popular with tourists, but still it is one of the most beautiful creations of nature.
Brazil Waterfalls
Iguazu National Brazilian Park has waterfalls that are not inferior to the greatness and beauty of Niagara and Victoria Falls. The unique natural phenomenon, located in the reserve, is a giant waterfalls with numerous cascades surrounded by magnificent tropical forests. The height of the fall of their waters reaches 80 meters. These are the most beautiful waterfalls in Brazil and Argentina.
They are located on the border between these two states. However, the most amazing view of them is from Brazil. The border of these two countries passes through the main cascade, called the Devil's Throat.
National park
In Brazil, the magnificent Karakol National Park has been created, representing one of the most remarkable reserves of this country with a peculiar flora and unique climatic features of the region. This zone is located far from the equator, so the climate here is quite temperate compared to other areas of Brazil.
In these amazingly beautiful places near the city of Canela, in the very extreme south of the country, there is a delightful waterfall Karakol. This majestic natural attraction is formed by the waters of the river of the same name, flowing along the plateau. Powerful waters break off from the 131-meter-high basalt cliffs and continue their journey along the canyon, the depth of which reaches 300 meters.
The Karakol River with its powerful water streams gave rise to this amazing sight. The nature here is amazing, because the river, located in the southern part of the country, flows along a rather picturesque mountain range called Serra Geral.
Karakol Waterfall
This Brazilian waterfall is one of the most impressive for its fantastic beauty. It is located in a national park with the same name 100 kilometers from the city of Canela. A unique reserve system with amazing natural landscapes, the Cascatado Caracol waterfall, located near it the cities of Canela and Gramado, are a great place for a wonderful pastime for both foreigners and local residents.
Surrounding it are forests untouched by civilization, in which many species of plants grow.
Excellent conditions are created for vacationers here. There is a convenient observation platform - a tower equipped with an elevator. It offers stunning views of the Karakol waterfall and the picturesque panorama of the park.
For those who want to see this wonderful sight from below, there is an opportunity to go down to its very base on a metal staircase with 927 steps.
The waterfall can be viewed from a hill located opposite the waterfall and equipped with convenient viewing platforms. It is also possible to view this amazing vibrant natural monument from the cable car.
Nearby there are restaurants, cafes, small shops with interesting crafts and souvenirs of local craftsmen.
